Actually, Halo 2 in particular had maps built with specific sets of game types in mind. Turf for 3 Plots, Headlong and Relic for One-Flag, etc. They were flexible, but made to excel in specific game types. I think that was one of the strengths of the Halo 2 maps, where much of Halo 3's set was designed with more flexibility and suffered somewhat by comparison for it (which one was made for Territories?).Dax01 said:What's probably most interesting is that, unlike the past Halo games, it seems there are maps designed for specific gametypes and those gametypes only. Like Boneyard and Invasion.
On the other hand, they could just be testing specific game types on them.
