If you're someone from another country who bought from the US store for a cheaper price but are switching back to your own region, I have no idea what to tell you.
It depends on what you're trying to do. If you're someone from the US who bought it from the US store, you're going to have to wait until midnight EST no matter what.

Like I said, it seems to be downloading the game all over again.
Combination of existing and new methods including some improvements and updates that will roll out over the short and long term. Geography, skill and ping are all parameters, and so is population.
Honestly the finer points are above my pay grade, but it will improve continually as the day and weeks progress. With top men tinkering.
That's the case. Maybe it's just a bug because the game isn't out yet.
At least I hope it is. It would suck if I had to switch the region all the time for every game I buy in a different store.

Oh god, I just remembered how laggy online campaign was.
Please someone tell me it's not as bad.
It breaks from time to time in Madden 15 as well.

Will you guys have any sort of indicator for population in a playlist for us? That way we know going into a Halo 4 playlist (or other playlist we think may not be as popular), we may be waiting a while.

My xbone says I have all 59.1 gigs preloaded so that implies I should just be able to hit a button and get into the game. Is there any installation after?
Someone mentioned they thought they had it all preloaded too but still had to download more material.

OK thanks for answer stinkles. Gotta say, massive disappointment that there wasn't at least the chance to choose the datacenter for social games. When you speak to these top men, tell them to play a few rounds of titanfall to see the gold standard of online set-ups.
Then ask them put something similar in asap please.... I know plenty of people who would rather play on the best server possible instead of having a number next to their name.

I wonder if the lag and input delay for online co-op is going to be as bad as the co-op for all previous versions of these games. Didn't matter who I played with, the input lag was always horrible. Often a whole second after performing an action.

Such a shame!!! They didn't look at titanfall before the decisions were made. But whats worse, they have the whole azure network at their disposal and didn't bother using it.

CEA was literally unplayable P2P. So bummed that campaign has been relegated to P2P.
I also can't understand why BTB is 12 players... Sandtrap with 12 players??
Tried to start playing with a friend when it was released...only was able to play it with us both on fios and 20 miles away from each other...still was lag for the person who wasn't the server
I'm pretty sure you can jump into any level at any time with anyone on any difficulty. So you'd just keep note of where you left off with your buddy and then carry on at that point with him.

Thank god ping is taken in consideration. I have a route problem and may have lower ping at USA server then in Brazil. So hopefully I will be able to play it decently, at least with randoms. lol
Indeed, All games are 60 fps. And H2A's surpressed SMG is gorgeous. 2x zoom, and silenced gun sounds are beautiful. And H2A's assault rifle gun sound was similar to H3's, but more high quality than any other HALO games.
Now I'm comparing multiplayer through local play.
the impulse trigger function is more powerful on Halo 3 and 4.(dat halo 3's BR trigger... It was gorgeous.)
But H2A's impulse trigger was weaker than I thought. Too weak. And It seems that HALO CE multiplayer has no impulse trigger function.

According to halo way point and the most recent Playlist update it should be 8v8. It's just an error than will hopefully be fixed soon.
