Settings > power and startup > instant on
Worked before but can't get it to work on this one.

Power and Startup settings - Change from Energy saving to Always-on and make sure the "automatically download updates" box is checked.

I'm assuming because this is simply a patch under 100 mb...
Not too big of a deal as long as at 12:01 EST the servers crash because of everyone trying to download it...

They won't crash, it will just take longer than normal that's all.
Just sat in Slayer matchmaking for over 15 minutes with 5 other people. Rather than finally giving up and putting us into a 3v3, it decided to throw us all out and give a failed matchmaking message.
Plus, I'm sure quite a few thousand people have the game by this point. Most online retailers tend to get the game to you the day before launch if you pre-order (in the UK, at least).

Did you download the full 59.1 gigs from scratch or did you simply get the 15gb update?

Also, after the 97 Mb, you then need another 15 gb it seems.

Digital, pre-ordered and fully installed (so I thought) the day it went up for pre-order. Xbox left on standby mode, and also used plenty of times in the last few days.

Yes, I also just turned on "automatic" downloads on my xbox and turned by xbox back on 2 minutes later and saw that my xbox was already updating for the 97 mb.
