Join in progress would solve all of the "uneven teams" problems. Once someone crashes, or quits - it makes the entire rest of the round a complete waste of time. This series has always had this problem (outside of H4).

I'm totally fine with join in progress in unranked playlists.
Id love some kind of killer instinct style "jail" for frequent quitters. But not now. Game crashes so much that if someone leaves they might not have meant to.

What would 343 get out of that? Its their rep that got dragged through the mud.
If I was following it correctly, Ubi offered a free game instead of DLC to season pass holders (because they scrapped their DLC plans). I think many people just wanted a refund.

I'm really enjoying the plot in halo 2... I didn't follow it much as a kid but it's very good and made even better with these great cgi cut scenes... I enjoyed the plot in four even though I needed to refer to the internet to piece together some things...

Yup. Not sure myself. But I always feel that people in the position of leadership should be in front whether it be for praise or flames of anger. It comes with the responsibility and the pay grade.

Man, say what you want about the multiplayer decisions and campaign story qualms, but Halo 4 really is easy on the eyes.
Playing all of 'em back-to-back has given me greater appreciation for Halo 4's "gunplay". Game really is solid at it's core, but was mired by all that extraneous stuff.

If you play alone chances are that is working relatively well by now.
Teams is still messed up what I read.
(But there are also solo-players which say nothing is working)
It´s kind of luck-based atm ;-)
Early next week comes a patch to fix the uneven teams.
No info if there are fixes regarding the campaign in it ...

I understand it, but since its already taking that much long to fix matchmaking, maybe would be a good idea to fix the campaing now, and go back focusing completely on matchmaking later. They cant let everything broken forever... :/

I agree. The gunplay in Halo 4 is really solid and an improvement over Reach and Halo 3 multiplayer gunplay. If you play the non-Infinity playlists in Halo 4, it's a great traditional Halo multiplayer experience, IMO. With the later playlist updates to Halo 4, non-Infinity games were very abundant. Kudos to 343i for listening to the fans when it came to updating Halo 4 playlists.

It's been known that it would use the Vista port since the reveal.
I don't recall it being that bad, it had dedicated servers. I don't know if MCC is even using them yet.
Learn 2 lead. Spreads shit though.
Yeah... Should've been a dedicated playlist though, 'cause all the randoms I encountered would usually vote for the Infinity game types. :/

That was because Halo 3 didn't use hitscan, in addition to the spread, right?
I actually did appreciate that at the time. Being able to properly lead shots was something I was missing from Halo CE. But then after playing a bunch of Reach & Halo 4, it seemed more like a bother going back.

So update to my previous post that said I couldn't find any games in a group. That problem seems to have been alleviated as of typing this. Me and one friend were able to get into games together at will, over and over. The problems we ran into involved game crashes and being separated once in a while. Overall though, huge difference from two days ago. It seems that progress is indeed being made. Keep going 343!
Online co-op campaign in Halo was never not messed up.

If you can buy one for $329 plus all those free games, I don't see why you haven't bought one already! And as per my post just above, things are getting better on the MP front. Haven't tried SP since the game launched so you'll have to refer to others that are in here talking about that.

Bold move- online seems to be hit or miss, but sp for most part is working ok - excluding my own problems with about 10 sp achievements not popping for me-
I'm in Europe. Best deal I can get is the MCC + Xbone bundle that's coming up next week for 400.
