I microwave steaks.
Just played on the halo 3 playlist where it's supposedly 4v4, but instead it stuck us all on individual colored teams (free for all essentially) and the score was to 50. Please fix this 343 :(

also I saw someone with a flaming helmet!

Yeah, there just has to be something wrong if a thing in life is TOO GOOD. The collection is close to perfection but damn the online co op campaign in Halo 1/2 is horrendous, horrible and unfathomable given how much MS talks about Azure and cloud, you'd think they would want this whole collection under those things but I guess not. I am also guessing Halo 3 to be bad as well, Halo 4 will be the only one worth a damn in the co-op online campaign department because it's the exact same experience I had with the 360. Halo 1 anniversary and Halo 3 suck in co-op online, shame that they do here(guessing for 3 to share the same fate), specifically talking 1 and 2. Will try 3 later when I'm done with 1/2.

Then we come to the MP which I haven't played, not even a single match since yesterday. I know, patience and all but still it's unacceptable for a game/collection of this stature to be released like that on a console who's company keeps talking about "Azure dedicated servers" and "Cloud". All I'm doing is waiting in lobby for 5 minutes > quit > search again, rinse and repeat.

Other than the long matchmaking sessions and one match where it was 5 v 4, I haven't had all those lock up problems or lag or anything. Even my Halo CE BTB match was mostly great, with a small flare of lag or two.

The snipers in Halo 2 Legendary are total assholes. You really need to take it slow and methodically in some spots.

Alternatively, look up speedruns for map exploits :p although who knows if they work in this version.

I'm not saying it isn't a good game. Issues like what the mcc is experiencing should be brought up and discussed in a review. That's why it's the responsible thing to wait until the game launches.

You'll probably get it late or something but that's another thing I noticed. The game is buggy in terms of achievements or how late they unlock as well as checkpoints. My brother told me he lost an hour worth of playtime on Halo 2 legendary when he quit after hitting a checkpoint then returning the next day only to be greeted with the start of the level lol.

Anybody else playing the Campaign playlists? I started the CE Heroic one, so that I'm not only doing the Campaign but some playlists too. Now I struggled through 'Assault on the Control Room', when it ended, I got no achievements as I recall and the game skipped the level '343 Guilty Spark' and took me straight to the Library.

Is this a known bug? Does doing chapter 6 make me lose the playlist progress? (That one shows up as 6/10)

This is insane. MS should issue everyone a refund and give this game free to all Xbox1 users as a token of appreciation for all the bs we have have to go through.

Say what? I love it so far. I've played a handful of games (yeah the matchmaking is insanely slow) and made good progress on my legendary Halo CE campaign.

Makes us vote on modes that aren't SWAT

We vote SWAT. Get King of the Hill.

I don't connect, 3 of party go in... on different teams.

I get booted out and put in a random party.

Amazing.

Try restarting your consoles if the achievements don't pop. It should fix everything unless the game is truly glitched.

Is the "He's Unstoppable" achievement broken for anyone else? I got it playing co-op legendary Halo CE despite dying several times lol.
(Halo CE: Complete any level on Heroic difficulty or higher without taking health damage)

Picked this up this morning and threw in the disc. Installation zipped to 88% really fast and has been crawling ever since. Been installing (from disc, just to repeat that) for 3 hours plus. This is beyond ridiculous. Guess I should have gone digital for the pre-load. That Target b2g1 was just too good to pass up, though.

That last 20% is probably the 20gb patch that it's downloading.

I went into the Halo 3 playlist, we wanted to do Zanzibar Team Slayer, instead it's 5 different colored teams free for all. I quit out after a few minutes, it was still set to 50 kills.

I think the biggest issue, larger than long match search times, is the game's inability to match games evenly.

That shit is annoying.

Anyways, I've got 4 campaigns to play through. Wake me when you need me etc etc

I can see why people are upset, but there is plenty of things to do in single player while MS sorts this out, they have to be scrambling hard to get this working.

It's not the 15GB update downloading then? Does the game start at all ("ready to play")?
