Could someone clarify how co-op works? I tried for a while to join up with a friend last night and it just wouldn't happen. If he's playing, can I jump right into his game or does he have to exit and we both start from the beginning of the level? And how do you join up, I assume there's some type of lobby we join prior to starting the level.
I feel like a complete idiot not knowing this but we finally just went solo as we couldn't get into each other's game.

Managed to get into a single SWAT game today.
Back to campaign I go though. Really eager to get started on the Halo 2 campaign, but I said I would go in order, so I'm trying to stick to that.
It's so hard not to just skip Halo: CE though...

Nope. Several achievements are glitched or can glitch for you.
Not really surprising with 450 achievements to be honest.

A simple classic Easter egg that everyone knows about. Rex Sword. I forgot how the Halo 2 Outskirts alone has more secrets and Easter eggs than entire games these days.

I played Two Worlds 1 on 360 at launch. No game will ever top that for me

I would love to know what technical problems Microsoft is having with their servers right now. I can't believe it's been down for almost 24 hours!
Why does the status now not mention MCC at all.. in fact as a slap to us halo fans they are calling out issues on Destiny instead

All the matchmaking issues are annoying, but not unprecedented. Even past Halo releases have had matchmaking issues. The general bugginess of the UI is extraordinarily bad, though. I'm happy that custom games work (usually), at least.

You won't know that unless the problems persist for six months. I doubt they will.
MCC is going to push me towards getting an Xbox One sooner rather than later. Hope y'all are having fun with it.

play mp for all 4 but only played campaign for halo 3 and 4...excited to try out halo ce and halo 2 tonight
Back when CE came out I played probably half of the game and then stopped. Then when 3 came out I pretty much only played multiplayer, but I played a lot. So I am looking forward to playing through all of the campaigns. I'm about an hour in to CE and I'm really enjoying playing it.
My 15GB update isn't done downloading so I can't even attempt to get in to a multiplayer game. I am not even going to bother until tomorrow.

Going home from work. Thought this would have been fixed by now. Hollyfuck man. I am just so fucking angry now. I seriously dont give a shit if they the delay the game for few days but shipping something not working is absolute nonsense. I was so excited to play this

Everything was unlocking fine this morning while I played, now I just finished a level in Halo CE and the achievement didn't pop. Going into the app also shows no progress towards certain achievement, such as total kills, where it was tracking them this morning. Sigh
Same thing happened to me I just ended up using the mission list so I could play it.
