Preach it brother. First game since Eternal Darkness that, right after beating it, I started a new game right away (to try being evil this time). Love the spells.
How to become an unstoppable monster : 4-5 x Multisword + Beserk (most awsome spell)... at the end, I'm literally hitting Jack of Blades 3000+ hits in one swing. It only took two hits to get half his energy down (but then he starts flying, so you can't hit him with it anymore, and multiarrow is pretty much worthless). Best thing about Beserk is that it'll get you 400-500 magic experience points just for activating it with a combat multiplier of 14-15, aside from the fact that it looks cool as hell.
Problems with the game... though your character does grow, the video showing you get muscular (when choosing toughness, strength), it just doesn't happen. You don't get that big (unless beserking). The other problem is that when you're evil, everyone screams at you, right? But what if who your talking to only has one pre-scripted speech to say?
(I have horns, a mohawk, and tattoos all over my face, walk up to the guy)
"Hello... I'm looking for a man to marry my daughter. But she only likes people who have hair like this. Will you like to marry my daughter? (Yes). Excellent! (goes out of speech) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! (runs away)"
Or whenever someone is carrying a box, they just drop and break it when you talk to them. It's funny when you see it.
