I had a feeling Reba would be super hot in the show

Would bring to the zoo to meet tigers. Casting continues to kick ass.

I'm glad she's finally going to be on a good show again.

Trying to find a link right now. But like 100% sure.

Found this, not 100% safisfied but kind of am...

Moreover, Fuller expressed in the interview that he had interest in exploring the character of Will Graham beyond what Thomas Harris had written in the books, in which Will became somewhat disfigured by the events of 'Red Dragon,' and was only thereafter mentioned in the subsequent novels.

Whoa, WHAT? I would have never called Tara as Reba, but that shit is PERFECT now that I think about it.

Seriously, so far as 2015 goes, in order of anticipation

1) Hannibal
2) Mad Max: Fury Road
3) The Force Awakens

In that order. No shit. That's how hyped I am for this season.

I don't know how to tell you this but that one is set to release around Christmas, sorry

I still don't know how he survived
getting his organs taken out I mean jesus christ.

So, breaking down the season into the two halves... I'm assuming we're pretty much done with villain of the week scenarios, at least for Season 3.

Season 3 Part 1 is basically an adaptation of Hannibal and Hannibal Rising with
the pursuit of Hannibal by Mason Verger, him fleeing to Europe with a female companion (here it is Bedelia instead of Clarice), Inspector Pazi and Lady Murasaki, and probably an examination of his origins, so to speak.

Season 3 Part 2 will basically be a mostly straight adaptation of Red Dragon with
the events being picked up several years later, Will married to Molly (maybe in Flordia?), Dolarhyde (though this means that he's been active for a number of years since the couple murdered in the pilot was killed by him), Hannibal in prison and Will being forced to consult with the feds again.

I suppose the second half of the season has potential of villains of the week if Hannibal has some sort of cult of fans out there or something, haha.

(speculative spoilers based on structure and book/movie info; it's not all spoilerish but I'd rather spoiler tag everything as what I say may heavily suggest the structure of it anyway; if you haven't read any interviews or care heavily about not knowing the outline of what occurs, don't read)
It's difficult to say. While there are possibilities of 'villain of the week' like events, it seems very likely that earlier on we'll be getting a 'meal of the week' in place of what's typically happening. This is a very busy season in how much they are going to deal with, yet, despite this, and some worries over the pace appearing to be too quick which I'm sure will be immediately dispelled, in the first half of the season we're obviously going to have to be doing 'something' with Hannibal and Bedalia. Episode four we find out which characters have made it through the dinner, which leaves us with a substantial length of time when we are not dealing with FBI members, freeing up a huge amount of time to get familiar with the Vergers, Pazzi, Fell, and Murasaki. While the majority of it likely will be as you say, I don't know if they're just going to do a straight up adaption.

The second half, (episode 6 to 13 to be more precise) also seem like a good chance to go after killers of the week again. I'm assuming given the time jump in 7 (8?) that Hannibal will be captured an episode or two prior as it seems jarring to just jump. My guess is that Hannibal will be captured at some point around 6-8, there will be a killer of the week episode to introduce the new status quo, with Hannibal in prison and Will either retired or on the brink of retirement where we'll be introduced to a new team and maybe a hint of Dolarhyde's crimes beginning. Of course, they could go in so many different directions here that it really isn't possible to say. I do think that there still will be some 'topic of the week's, but it's really hard to make a judgement. To be honest, I'm really interested in how they transition into Red Dragon mid-season. I suppose, in some ways, it's actually very wise, as this decision will help for later seasons in breaking up any potential repetivity of having one season-long killer.

On a completely unrelated note, I don't see DuMaurier making it out of the season alive, so I'm very interested in what happens with her. Murasaki asks Will if he wants to take someone from Hannibal, and I'm wondering if she's referring to DuMaurier here.

Also, Will's line at the end, is that "I'm glad I forgive you"? "I forgive you", is clear, but I'm not able to hear the start of it with great clarity.

I think that line about
taking something away from Hannibal was her way of asking if Will plans to hurt her (as in Murasaki), not DuMaurier.

We all know everyone except Jack talks in circles on this show, so I guess she wouldn't ask outright, "Are you going to kill me?" like a normal person would :-p

I'm definitely in agreement that that is how it is suggested (that it's intended to be preceived as a comment about Will's intentions towards Murasaki) but the trailers in the past have been very careful in the lines they use to subvert expectations based upon the trailer.

Take for example season 2's "You have to investigate me, it's in my best interest" followed by Jack's very stern "Yes it is". While obviously later on there was indeed an investigation, that line was in the first episode and was, in fact, not how it was presented (the line actually stated in the episode was "You have to investigate me, it's in my best interest, and yours", and the "Yes it is" is followed immediately by "but I also can't ignore that my bloodhound went mad"). That and the final line about forgiveness seem to be the most likely which would be hugely altered by the context of what is occurring, much more so than most of the scenes that are shown.

Heh, 'Meal of the Week'. That'll be an interesting twist.

I'll be legit wrecked if/when this happens(regarding Red Dragon's ending). ;__;

News from Ask Ausiello

Question: Dude, we’re dying. Can we please get…anything on Hannibal? —Ro

Ausiello: True Detective‘s Glenn Fleshler — he was lawn-mowing murderer Errol — is joining the NBC thriller as… another scary dude. I’ve learned exclusively that the actor has been cast as Cordell,
the personal nurse of the disfigured Mason Verger (now played by The Divide‘s Joe Anderson). The character is described as “quiet, very intelligent and definitely creepy,” yet “attentive and gentle with Mason. He’s a professional who cares about his work, but we get a sense he might be as sadistic as his boss — and a perfect fit to become his potential henchman.”

I'm putting that under spoiler tags just because I'd rather be safe than accidentally piss someone off.

The Yellow King is gonna be Cordell???

I accept this.

Ooh,
Mason's very own creepy and sadistic personal nurse
, sounds intriguing.

The growing number of Fannibals here is pretty encouraging :)

Isn't it though? :) This summer start may actually be beneficial to the show. Aside from having less competition, it gives people more time to keep spreading the word.

'Hannibal' Season 3 Spoilers: Raul Esparza Teases 'Cronenberg-Like' Monstrous Chilton

"Hannibal" star Raul Esparza recently sat down with HorrorHound Magazine to discuss the series — as well as what we can expect from his character, Frederick Chilton, in the upcoming third season.

"I rewatched some of the episodes before coming out here and the setup was so perfect," revealed Esparza. "There are things that we shot that they went into editing and took from episode five and put into episode six for instance. How Abel Gideon is reintroduced. How I have memories of the shooting of it and where it takes place that were edited into different patterns. They set it up so beautifully."

He also spoke about how he prepared for the return of Chilton, revealing in a way, that the shot to the character's face was his own fault.

"I remember when I said to Bryan, 'I think I should have a scar or something.' And he said, 'I think a scar is a great idea, why don’t we earn it,'" said Esparza, adding that we're getting into "Cronenberg-like" territory.

"Chilton’s role is to torment Hannibal," continued the actor. "His role in the end is to be his captor and his tormentor. And now I certainly have reason for revenge."

However, Chilton will have his work cut out for him once Hannibal returns to Baltimore.

"Hannibal is smarter than him, and he’s playing against a monster," Esparza said of his character, "and that in order to deal with a monster, you have to become one."

We can't wait to see Chilton and Hannibal go head-to-head!
