Guardians of the Galaxy got me. Hard not to sympathize with the very human experiences Peter Quill and Nikki Gold go through in that game.
The only answer ^Only once. That ending broke me.
The futileness of Bookers quest and trying to change the person that he is and what happens in the endWait what exactly was sad in bioshock infinte?
And it never will be. Literature had Terry Pratchett, videogames has Rhianna Pratchett.No. Video game writing just isn't there, by and large.
So I totally respect your opinion, but I need to know, have you played some of the games that keep getting brought up? Nier Automata? Metal Gear Solid 3? To The Moon? I agree that a lot of games are poorly written, but I think there's a handful out there that are written just as well as the best TV shows or movies.Nope, never, I felt sorry for vasemir in witcher 3, that's it. Actually I can't understand it, videogames writing is so subpar that is impossible to connect with it for me.
That is starting yo be a problem cause not only the emotional part is lacking but also the awe part, I mean I can't remember the last time I thought "damn this is awesome", it is always mid.
Some people love to always bring up those worse/less stellar lines of dialogue or moments in certain games, just to make a point...ignoring the vast majority of the rest of the game, which is what make those damn stories so great and memorable. So I totally respect your opinion, but I need to know, have you played some of the games that keep getting brought up?
