Anyone else heard of this thing? I'm certainly quite impressed with the stats. First, it's networked, so it will play any video files you might have on your PC. Want to plug in hard drive or USB drive and play files directly from that? You can, as it has USB 2.0 ports. It will upsample ALL video content to either 1080i or 720p. This includeds DVDs and media files. Also, it will actually play high def videos. MPEG2, Divx, and WMV9 files at full HD resolution all work flawlessly, from the discussion I've read. All this, and only $250. I'm very seriously considering picking one up.

Every try playing actual HD content on an Xbox? If not, I'll go right ahead and tell you...not happening.

Too dumb for the internet
I know nothing of that particular product, but I've never heard anyone that has been impressed with any of the "upsampling" dvd players out there. You're just too limited by the source. But, that seems like a good price for the other things it does. Just don't go into it expecting all this great HD stuff from analog sources, or DVD.

Hmmm...I've always been quite happy with upsampling. It doesn't work wonders, but it does look considerably better. Still, I'd be much more interesting in capturing HD on my DVR and being able to archive it to WMV9 and then play it back.
