Quite ridiculous - I took a break from studying to play an arena game. I draft the fucking Lich King.
I place him on turn 8, he survives two turns. I get Frostmourne which demolishes the minions on the board, and my second card from LK? Steal a card. And which one do I get?

If I run into weird / bad cards, my general assumption is the person got that class as their free DK and is just trying to make a deck work. And all power to them. Priest tempoing out Shattered Sun Cleric on 3? Good for him.
I do understand that, but what I forgot to mention are the decks I'm facing are Ungoro meta decks just slapped with a DK they probably got. My current record is 2-6 and I'm Rank 22. I've never had this much trouble at this rank ever. I just want to reach Rank 20...
But then again, maybe it's because I'm using Hunter which is why I'm having trouble in the first place.

There are a lot of shamans on EU, I still beat them but it's tough. Deathseer Thrall is actually good for me, that totem pressure going away is a huge downside. You kill their stuff they lose the game and I can kill their stuff.

Anyone got a fairly basic build to get past deathbringer saurfang? All the builds I've seen consist mostly of cards I don't own =\
warrior, it's all basic cards man. Arcanite reaper, war axe, heroic strike. Add upgrades, have pirates that upgrade the weapon? play those that's it. Play some taunts too, just go face. It's the easiest boss.
I'm having some good luck running Giants version of secret mage with the new Frozen Clone secret. I discovered Simulacrum in one game and it was insane.

Also don't waste your weps if the he has healers out. Try and use brawl to clear the board.
He's not gonna run ooze or Harrison or anything like someone would. So you can hold on to your weps. Also try and use your wep buff cards in your better weps. Don't waste them on something 1/3.
People have weirdly overreacted to him from what I've played, he was really good one game though where I had a corpsetaker on the field before I dropped him and was able to hit him with spikeridge, he stuck around for awhile and peaked as a 12/15.
That said I just kinda shoved him into a deck for the sake of it and didn't build around it at all.

More playable Legendaries is generally a good thing tho- Whispers had a ton and is probably the gold standard on that front for a pre-Journey set.

Rogue worst winrate. 9th class incoming. Probably hunter still ends up worst when things settle down but I don't think rogue will find a way this time to be acceptable. DK is fine but rest of the deck is outclassed in midgame. Rogue minions are garbage. It's time they print some decent rogue minions like tomb pillagers or azure drake and not sherazin or Lillian Lose the game.
that wild growth and innervate in top 10, everyone is a pro druid player. I need to work on my mulligan skills.
Stonehill defender needs a nerf. It's top in every format by a huge margin.

I was playing that stupid zetalot deck and my opponent played hemet to kill his entire deck and then played Benedictus the turn after. Something like 6 benedictus ended up being played. 12 dragonfire potions. At least 20 shadow visions. 20 eternal solitude.
Mirror matches are the worst and that was as close as it comes to a literal mirror match. I hate shit like that.
And i have never been happy with the death knight card I've ever gotten off of lich king. Still never gotten frostmourne after at least 20 plays.

Nope the deck is absolute trash now. None of the new cards synergize well with the deck, especially stuff like Ultimate Infestation. Think Druid is gonna have a hard time finding a good deck, probably better to just play something else in the meantime.

Is some streamer playing Paladin decks with Light's Sorrow? I keep running into Paladins playing it, and they would probably be beating me if they weren't spending four turns trying to set up that trash.
I just tanked 3 DK Uther hits in the face and ended the game with 20 life as a Warlock. If he did anything other than try to get Light's Sorrow value there's no way I win.

I have games like this regularly. I had 5-6 benedictus played in a game last night, and one player had nearly 30 cards in their deck when it finally ended after 20-25 minutes.
One player kills something with the moat monster. Another player eats the moat monster with a moat monster. Then someone kills the moat monster and maybe pulls it back to their hand. Then someone else kills a moat monster and/or plays another moat monster.
It becomes a headache to track.

As long as Auctioneer is a thing, Miracle Rogue will continue to see play. The DK card is too good to never see play, someone's going to make a good deck with it eventually.
I've seen it on kibler's stream, each time it is played against him is quite big...

I have more confidence in rogue than those stats show. Not even 2 days have passed. This class got tools to make up for weaknesses. It's gotta be figured out imo.
So far stealth tempo feat. bonemare is working real well for me. I haven't even experimented with finja rogue this set yet, though I have a list ready.

Not really. Auctioneer doesn't operate in a bubble, it imposes huge limitations on your deck and how you have to play your cards and depending on the meta that can be very hard to overcome. They can take away auctioneer for all I care. You play auctioneer, basically 10 cards in your deck are fixed because of it and while those cards are good you have to save them for auctioneer. That's not good. Look how oil rogue was played compared with miracle, you didn't have to save your preps or spells, you used them to make strong tempo and you could sprint later. That's much better imo. Now of course you can use them to make strong tempo plays, but then you topdeck gadget which does nothing.
Rogue is supposed to have best card draw in the game according to Blizzard devs, well they don't. Ramping up to UI is the best card draw in the game, unlike preps and coins, ramp is a permanent investment. Sprint? lul. Druid can now just go ham with ramp, because they have to dump their hand for UI anyway. It's so good.
So, yeah HoF auctioneer ASAP, print some good cards instead. Not Runeforge Haunter, Not Lillian Loss, Not Witness Me.
I take that any time. Fuck Auctioneer. It's not even good anymore. You cycle a lot, cool, cycle into what? There is nothing OP to play after.

Wooo finally got past week 1 tier with my shitty cards lol
I feel like straight up miracle rogue can still beat the pants out of people right now. Only reason I beat the last few I played against is because they went all in on Edwin and I drew into owl on mulligan.
Meanwhile the rogue who beat me played DK Valeera into vanish for the win. Pretty good combo, but haven't seen anyone else pull that off yet.

You can see what I'm running on a prior page. Cut Feral, Scales, added hero, Spreading Plague, Crypt Lord's, Scavengers, etc. I don't have Fandral or Yogg so
I *love* it because basic Jade is kind of boring for me. Running an 82% win rate right now, but a lot of miracle wins so I expect to fall to earth soon.
I dunno what the best list will be but infestation and spreading plague seem to be common atleast.
