Okay, so I have my cable modem going into my wireless router, and then an ethernet cord running to my old router, which is in a room with a computer and an Xbox connected to it. I can't get into the router set up screen so I can forward ports for my router in this room. I can access the wireless control panel, but not the local router. It's a Linksys, so when I type in 192.168.1.1 IE just hangs there, not finding anything. Does anyone know how I can get into the access screen?

Why are you using both routers? Shouldn't your setup at this point be:

Cable Modem --> Wireless Router --> Xbox?

Or are you trying to use your old router to connect both the PC and the Xbox at the same time?

Yeah that's it. I need the computer on all the time, and the xbox whenever. I could go wireless for the xbox, and then i'd be set, but that's money.

From the way you describe it, it seems you have an ethernet cord long enough to reach from the wireless router to the room with the xbox+PC. Couldn't you just get another one? That way you could use one for the xbox, one for the pc. Or just use your old router as a switch by ignoring the wan port and just plugging all three devices (new router, xbox, pc) into the regular ports. Maybe you could describe the equipment in question, it might help.
