wait, they start to sell the SD adapter, and i missed it of course.
now waiting for Chinese ripoff version for $5 or less.
Every time I read about those adapters, I rush to order one... but then I remember that I already have a 64GB card that it's not even full, and the most I could do is get a 128GB microSD that would be more than half empty :/
you've been able to use pspemu for ages. Not even henkaku exclusive.Hello everyone, is Henkaku finally able to play PS One and PSP games? i would LOVE to play some old titles like Valkyrie Profile(which should be on the PSN store by now, it would be amazing playing this on the PS3 or PS4) and Crisis Core(this game must be amazing on the VITA screen), also is it possible to use cheats on some PS1 classics using henkaku?
PS: nvm found some answers a few pages back, going to work on installing it.
oh, i mean playing those on my vita while out, for example while on campus, most of the time i get classes that are more than 1h away from each other(one ends at 8:50AM and the next starts at 10:30AM for example) so being able to play some of these games on my VITA would be awesome, thanks to PS classics i can alredy enjoy some titles i love, like Castlevania SOTN, Parasite Eve 1~2, Dino Crisis 1~2, Chrono Cross, but damn i miss playing Valkyrie Profile and Crisis Core, its so sad that we cant buy those ;/.you've been able to use pspemu for ages. yeah, and I'm saying there have been pspemu exploits that have let you play those games for years.oh, i mean playing those on my vita while out, for example while on campus, most of the time i get classes that are more than 1h away from each other(one ends at 8:50AM and the next starts at 10:30AM for example) so being able to play some of these games on my VITA would be awesome, thanks to PS classics i can alredy enjoy some titles i love, like Castlevania SOTN, Parasite Eve 1~2, Dino Crisis 1~2, Chrono Cross, but damn i miss playing Valkyrie Profile and Crisis Core, its so sad that we cant buy those ;/.

this is an option as well, you can buy the microsd adapters for $0.99.
I mean, technically they're /all/ Chinese ripoffs
I'm not doing the soldering myself, got an electrical engineer friend, but it's an option.
the PCBs are based on an open source design which is what was linked. There's no "chinese knock offs" because literally anyone can commission one to be made. Whether they're a chinese business or a private citizen.huh? this is the printed file?
i don't have 3D printer.

there are native vita emulators, of course. They have not developed as much as 3DS/PSP/etc. so they're not perfect. Steady improvement, though. And some of them are perfectly serviceable. So, I'm a little confused. Are all the emulators the same as the PSP emulators, or are there actual native Vita ones? If they are all PSP based ones, do they take any advantage of the Vita's extra power?
One last question of confusion for the moment. Can you load up any PSOne games? The OP and Wolo say no, but I thought I saw a few posts back that you can actually, unless I'm misunderstanding?
On one hand, I think those transfer speeds would be terrible. But would the only other option be to use a PC with Vita Content Manager?
or just connect as a USB storage device via vitashell.
i am not that good at electronic,so which file i should give the specialist to make one for me?
or just he image file?
Can I play/download from the ps store/my library without updating the console?
Henkaku allows you to spoof your firmware and access the store and (to my knowledge at least) it is still working. I take the long way around and use my PS3 to download the titles and then transfer them over, I then make a backup on my PC using QCMA.
That said, once you enter the wonderful world of homebrew you'll be unable to play any titles requiring firmware greater than 3.60
I believe World of Final Fantasy is one of them right?
()PLEASE SAY NO

Does anyone want my sd2vita adapter, it works, but I feel like I should've waited for a version with a cartridge shell covering it?
I only ask for the original ebay listing price for it, $19
What size memory card is in it, and how does it work? I can't afford one until next month.
Yeah, but as was said above the physical version will work but it requires a patch if you want voice acting, I'm not certain if the patch raises the firmware requirements on the game.
That said the Vita version of World of Final Fantasy looks terrible and has horrendous load times, I sold my copy and picked up the PS4 version.
Is anyone producing PCB with SD readers already installed?
So, what is the point of installing molecularshell and vitashell? They seem like the same thing?
Also, it really sucks that Sony made it such a pain in the ass to replace the faceplate on Vita's. I just pulled a couple of PSP's out of my closets last week and it was super nice being able to hop online and buying a couple new faceplates and making them look great again.
It's not difficult to replace the faceplate of a 1k or a 2k.
Yes, you have to replace the screen as well, but the vita is very nicely assembled and replacing any part is very easy.Really? Everything I'm reading online is that the screen is glued in and you pretty well have to replace the screen and faceplate together? Am I misunderstanding?
Do these adapters work on a non-homebrewed Vita? One of the main reasons I haven't been using mine in a while is because I hate the memory cards and am afraid of mine wiping itself again (and yet, I also don't feel like dropping $70 on another card. whoda thought).
Nah, you need to have Henkaku since it's a kernel mod iirc to use.
