I wonder how much BW did to counter her WW AoE.

I like pyromaniac with energy roil at 1. It makes you a utility beast. still would go with the shield at 16 though.
especially if your up against a lot of melee heroes, the two/three man stuns are a lot more common. getting multiple multi man stuns off in a fight is pretty good.
maybe after medic comes out if medic is a good solo healer. I'd like to see two bans up front and then one ban mid way. same draft as now just start it out with an additional round of one ban each.
also, uther needs to beaten with the nerf bat.
prolly gonna need a lot more heroes before they could do that (and better balancing), but I'd like to see that, I'd like the all bans at the beginning too because it makes the drafting more fun to watch in a call and response kind of way

I think the balancing is getting close. I feel like almost every hero could be picked, and more bans would high light this. Maybe they need a bigger hero pool in general, but I don't know how many more heroes they would need to make 6 bans work... I feel like right now the only thing holding it back is how critical it is to have a main healer, and how few main healers there are. .
It is definitely getting much closer. The warriors need the work right now because there's too big a feast/famine thing there- the assassins/specialists are in really good shape. Uther definitely needs a shavedown as well, hes completely absurd.

I think there are too many strong warriors atm (and a large gap between them and picks like etc/stitches/diablo) which influences stuff too hard, and yeah the whole not enough healers thing
I agree that a lot of stuff is pickable too, but mostly I think the great combos are so easy to pick up/steal atm, and while more bans helps that I think it'd also force ppl onto heroes that are kind of a gulf away from the better heroes.

It's no, they 've been running 3x Melee 1x Kharazim 1x Ranged comps all patch and blowing people up with them.
Illidan/Abathur is 2-patch old garbage that people keep picking for some idiotic reason.

Play includes drafting, and they drafted like shit too. Nothing about that draft makes sense- you get Illidan/Abathur, which appears to have a 0% winrate this patch, the Illidan/Abathur then means they basically have to pick Rehgar, when they have a bad Rehgar player.... its a cascade of horrible decisionmaking in that game even before all the misclick ancestrals.
I get that you have a low tier hero mindset (as in, you like playing them), but Illidan is really, really not in a good spot, especially in the Korean meta, where he doesn't have teams running 3 squishes to feast on.
It has nothing to do with my supposed "low tier hero mindset". There was plenty of synergy in their draft. Illidan/rehgar/abathur, hammer vs 4 melee, condemn to peal for hammer and bunch people up for her and abathur's aoe, blind counters butcher and also has strong synergy with illidan's evasion.
The draft didn't lose them that game, they didn't leverage any of their drafts strengths. They played very badly and that's why they lost.
Let them swap heroes with black and they still would have lost just as badly.
....none of that is actually good vs a team with a high hp pool with absurdly high-self sustain and tons of stuns (Mura/Sonya/Butcher.) Illidan requires your opponents to be drafting a style that isn't really being done right now (lots of squishy backliners) and even then it's pretty marginal and very rough without the Uther.
You could tell they were panicking behind the scenes on the last ranged pick because they had completely imploded in the draft leading up to that- they did not actually have a good option left against the squad they were facing. Having the stunlocks for Illidan alongside Lamb means that they can force out an early cleanse from Rehgar onto either Illidan or Hammer then just go in and blow up the other one. Peeling Muradin, Sonya AND butcher using Jo is going to be absurdly difficult because all 3 have movement options that get them right in your face again and blow up whoever they want to. It was going to be the same issue regardless of what ranged assassin ended up getting picked.
These teams were not even after the draft ended. This was not even close to a 5-5 matchup on paper. I'm not saying Snake would have won - they obviously were playing like shit But they put themselves into a position where they were going to have to play like gods while MVP spontaneously combusted to pull off a win because they had one of the worst drafts I've ever seen in this game.

I play Hammer more than any other hero right now, I just love the playstyle of her. Only Abathur comes close to the amount of fun I have with a hero!
Hammer rocks on BoE map, I can sit out of range of any of the Eternal's attacks, siege up, and just blast him down solo faster than half of the enemy team can to our own Eternal. I never have to move or unsiege or anything, I can just sit there blowing him away. And I can even position myself to rock any of the opposing team when they come to the center point during transitions too. Nah, Hammer is great on that map.
I pretty much never get made after a game of HotS, no matter if I win or lose, no matter if my team played good or bad. I just like playing the game I guess.

It really gives you perspective to watch my 6yo son, as he has moved on from training to playing beginner level vs. ai games..
(Which is great because I can make him do the dailies, as our new born baby sleeps all day and is awake evenings and nights creating severe need for a pause function to all the games I currently play, diablo lvl 70 here I come)
But getting upset over your teammates who apparently are mostly 4 to 5 yo.. Just does not make sense to me anymore, they can't even read!

I am so, so unbelievably tired of the server stability these past three days. I can not even fathom how hard it could possibly be for a multi-million dollar company to fix such an issue - especially after having so much previous experience in the online department. I think I'm currently sitting at loss #10 or so in the past three days, solely because someone (be it me or my buddies) on my team has disconnected - and of course it never seems to be happening on the opponent side.
How evil my wishes might be, every single part of me wants the Americas Championship to be a complete utter disaster in terms of internet stability so that truly realizes how much of a fuck up they've managed to put themselves into.
So please, if there is a higher power, my true inner wishes right now is to see every single fucking attempt of a game in the championship go to the shitter so that the entire community can laugh at the incompetency that is Shitzzard.

but how do we even know that it worked and that we can look forward to the portrait in october? i don't trust blizzard with these technical things.
