That's exactly what he does/is for solo queue. Will be harder now that everyone can get Cleanse, but he's still super fun.

Chase and escape. He has both the tools to do so, but they're not the best, imo. He's also melee, so he's gonna get focused and die faster than a ranged would, of course. He's not nearly as strong as you guys are saying, but he's definitely decent and fun to play.

No escapes, he only excels in extended long term 1v1 fighting where his self-heal can go off. It's why he's a pub stomper- people don't gang up on him. Butcher is going to be the same way- if you can't 2v1 him you want to stay away.

Oh I don't have an issue with him, I'm Zeratul. I'm pissed off at my team mates for stacking up against him constantly. Kael'thas can single-handedly win games. That can't be said about any other hero in the game.

Kael can no longer do that easily, it requires more positioning compared to his release insane burst damage and see everything burns.

Melee, you can focus on him with range attacks and he is done

I've been trying his nade build for the first time ever... and it actually kinda works! The range upgrade is ridiculous, you can snipe people from a screens length and nobody ever sees it coming!

Same here! I'm definitely a casual player that doesn't have any interest in getting an actual team together and trying to win. I just like to play around for fun, and he's been one of the most fun heroes I've tried so far. I'm up to 25k gold and haven't bought any heroes yet, but I might have to grab him. Any chance he'll get bumped down to 7k soon?

BIG buffs to gold gain. Hero level 9 gets you 750g. (L15 is now 1000g, L20 is now 2000g) That + the Treasure Goblin +100g per day is a big rate increase for a lot of players..

You get gold reaching certain levels with your heroes and also unlock different skin tints as well. Generally the rule of thumb is to try to get all heroes to at least 5 to get 500g each.

Hero league was cool for me until the next three or four days as a solo or duo (i know i've been ranting a lot). I hope this is just bad luck because it is very frustrating, i don't care to lose when there is a good game, but when you have people constantly ignoring objectives and dying solos despite multiple warnings it is hard to have fun.

Maybe the game is telling i'm part of the problem but i don't know really so much basic error with my teammates in Solo HL these days.
I guess i just have to wait the night for my friends to join up with me and QM solo the day to improve some heroes.

Issue is that she's just a straight up bad design and requires a complete overhaul. They're aware, but she's also a niche pick right now and thus they're being conservative.
