She's genuinely good now - an auto attack hero for when you don't need Raynor's defenses.

Lunara is insane, I was in a game last night as Anub and my entire health bar went poison from 90% full in like 2 seconds. Basically she shows up and you either die or have to leave and get to a fountain, either way your team loses the objective.

It literally makes me feel like a moron knowing I'm garbage with her

The hyper-limited hero pool right now for dps slots is really hurting the game right now as a spectator. Might just be cause it's NA, but it's so boring.

Are you sure it's not just the constant homogenization of heroes that's the problem? Doesn't matter what dpd you pick because they all kind of do the same thing.... The main difference being that some just do it better then others?

Kinda - but that's a matter of balancing on damage so the utility differences are noticeable.

Vision in particular is a blind spot for them- Zagara, Tass, Tyrande, Lunara- team are always picking at least one of them up. There aren't enough other characters with decent options, and because it's so crucial, you have this psuedo-locked slot for one of them on top of tank/healer.

I can agree with that. They should buff scouting drone. They should all be eye of Kilrog levels of good.

And then make clairvoyance greater area for longer duration.

Well in terms of ranged DPs, so far we have seen the only ranged assassins we haven't seen are Nova, Tychus and Kael (sob).

The problem more is with the specialists - so many of them have been made worthless, barring Zagara who is queen. Hammer, Sylvannas, Gazlowe, Azmodan, Nazeepo,, Similarily with the melee assassins - it's thrall or go home it seems today, and Kerrigan / Butcher/ Illidan are left on the sidelines.

Ultimately when you boil it down there's 30 or so viable characters in the game, and given that generally teams want 2 ranged assassins, and taking into account bans, its not surprising you aren't seeing that great a variety. They really need to tune up specialists a *lot* it feels, most of them are in a really bad spot now.

I agree with that too. Split pushing needs to be a real threat and not just a way to get soak advantage. It would widen the strategy aspect of the game considerably.

They really have to find some way to get 3 days out of these. We're only going into game 3 of the losers bracket, only to be follow up by winners bracket a set.

Then we move onto 4? More sets in the b group?

Yeah, I think they're running straight through A then straight through B (makes sense for food/logistics)

I feel that way too and I love playing specialists. Split pushing just rarely plays out well when your specialist can out damage assassins. If I'm missing a teamfight to get a push going I'm probably hurting my team because they're lacking the body and damage in the fight. And it's very easy to get piled on if you're trying to solo lane, even if you're trying to play carefully. Which sucks, because they have these awesome talents to use. But I often feel like I'm playing a different style of assassin.

With Xul's trait basically being a better version of Sylvanas' Posession, they really need to take another look at ult again. Maybe make it global, like Azmodan's ability to summon demons in any lane, instead of requiring her to be in a lane close to the creep to convert it. Or allow her to turn an entire creep wave at once.

That would allow her to stay with the team but apply global lane pressure and split push or to sort of be in two lanes at once while her team occupies another.

Yea she should be able to turn an entire wave at once, giving them promoted stats. On like a 16 second cooldown.

That Ancestral in that last big team fight was insanely lucky to land and basically turned the game at the end there.

i could never play for ts. as someone who has been with reynad since he had 10 viewers, dude is the unluckiest motherfucker ever. anything he touches inherits that shit luck, even if he's not directly involved with his hots team, soon as dude showed up in twitch chat it was a wrap. i actually though of buying into ts when he started it, i figured if i threw like 50k at him he couldnt refuse. dude was very adamant of retaining 100% ownership. very smart for just a kid.
