Not yet, but the number 1 titles are:

"Saw IV" was the week's top Blu-ray Disc seller, beating "Game Plan" among the early-adopter crowd. "The Bourne Ultimatum" was the top HD DVD seller for the week.

Trainspotting was my first dvd I ever saw, it's got some very nice visual scenes I can't wait to see in HD. Also, the soundtrack is amazing, can't wait for it to come out over here.

Paramount Home Entertainment has alerted retailers to expect Sweeney Todd to be released April 1 on HD DVD, day-and-date with the standard DVD version. And no, the release date is not an April Fool's joke.

Sweeney Todd, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, is based on the Tony Award-winning musical. Depp received an Oscar nomination for best actor for his role in the film. The film also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jamie Campbell Bower, Laura Michelle Kelly, Jayne Wisener, Ed Sanders, and Timothy Spall.

Paramount has yet to issue an official announcement so we won't have any specific disc information until they do. Also, as with any early retailer dates, the release date could change at any time.

Sweeney Todd on HD DVD will carry an SRP of $39.99. Check back regularly for high resolution cover art, disc specs, special features, and pre-order information.

Didn't see it yet, but heard really good things about it (and the combination of Depp+Burton is visual orgasm to me).

And +1 for Trainspotting.

Comparing the blu and hd dvd situation to the PS3 is completely asnine and ignorant.
As for the Lord of the Rings 2009 would be the safe bet.

everyone and their grandma knows that the highest selling console isn't going to force the others to go away unlike bluray.

you are so right about ps3 having a gamecubelike existance when you consider the fact that the ps2 sold 6 times as much as the gamecube while and the fact that the wii has sold 2 times as much as the ps3. you're especially going to be right after blu-ray formally wins the format and a wave of people buy a ps3. and to add on too how right you are, we all also need to consider how the 360 has also sold almost two times as much as the ps3 as well, even after the ps3 sold more the recent fiscal year.

go back to the gaming forum. no one cares which console is in a close third here(which is a gamecubelike existence to you). we wont get butthurt if it's the ps3. for the ps3 to be at a gamecubelike existence they need to sell 10 more million consoles, stop completely, while the wii or 360 sells another 100million. pigs need to fly. and the word logic needs to be removed from the dictionary. pm me when that happens.

Should be relatively easy to get to 90+% on big blu-ray exclusive weeks.

Toshiba can't be looking at this and saying "gee, we can really turn this ship around". I would have to imagine all of this bullshit about them being aggressive with marketing and prices (yet not working, obviously) is just in order to get a fatter deal from the BDA.
