MS must be crapping in their pants now. Add ons never sell as well as integrated products. I wonder if there will be an updated elite Xbox360 with a BR drive. They must hate the idea of supporting Java.

Not until Toshiba gets in front of the mics and makes it official, and outlines their exit strategy.

Then I suppose we can have an official blu-ray thread, or a series of weekly threads, like those DVD threads, or whatever..

Unlikely, DVD will continue to exist for a long while. Especially since all (?) blu-ray players still play DVDs

PS3 sold more software per console then the 360 did. Which kinda puts the whole "People are buying PS3s for Bluray only and 360 owners buy way way way more software" bs to rest. Unless of course... there were software shortages too.

Now can we get back to Bluray winning the war?

I want: Remastered video, remastered audio track, English sub, and whatever extras there were in the DVD version(s).

DVDs are on sale for like $5 these days in the Sunday circulars. Of course retailers are going to start pushing blu-ray media really hard.
