Sounds like with the update, folks are plenty happy. That’s awesome. I really can’t wait to fire this game back up tonight.

By the way, was I the only one that paused the game and checked the door when the knocking started in this part? Hazards of a good surround system, it fooled the wife and I both. Can I pay $10 to get the full game from the games intro? I need to know how the divorce was resolved!!!!!
There's cartoons and skits on small TV all over and radio as wellI heard in an interview there are four full movies that they licensed through Vinegar Syndrome.
Tammy and the T-Rex is amazing, by the way. They essentially "borrowed" a robotic T-Rex prop that someone had access to for a week or so and hastily wrote and filmed an entire movie around it.
Really really good, much better. Im playing now on PC and the little issues i'd noticed are all gone to be honestSounds like with the update, folks are plenty happy. That’s awesome. I really can’t wait to fire this game back up tonight.

Shame we won't get a Digital Foundry video on this game though, it's pretty great.Hilarious. Glad everything seems better. It’s not wasted work, as long as he got paid regardless.
Rewarding players for idling is kind of Squanch Games' thing. Trover famously claimed 20 hours of recorded dialog despite the game only being about 7 hours long. You could stand there and listen to guards talk to each other or whatever background shit seemingly forever and never hit the end of it. Most of the dialog clearly just improvised on the spot. This is actually slightly reigned in from that but you can see they kept all the loose improvisational stuff in the TV spots and stuff like that. There's cartoons and skits on small TV all over and radio as well
Probably not due to those video files lol. Entire films can be reduced to a few hundred MB's, especially in that resolution and bitrate.I guess that's why this 'indie' game is 50GB in size lol
I just switched from game optimizer to vivid. I wish this game had HDR.Yap, this is now running pretty spot on.
Highly recommended to anyone who wants a laugh.
On a other note - I couldve sworn I was playing with HDR before the update?
Pro tip for LG owners : use HLG (and HGig or DTM), it gives the picture abit more pop.
I get it though. High on Life wouldn’t get the views that a “AAA developed” game would. That is one difference that Digital Foundry does do before putting out a video, they tend to wait for a Day 1 patch before they put a video out there.Geez a quick 5 min before and after vid wouldn't take much. If this were from "other" studios of the misbehaving canine variety, he would put out a 5 hour opus.
Yup. I updated on PC and it's flying now, im not seeing the stutter issue at all really(One super minor instance when first getting to the third level). But im all the way into the game forreal now and its good to go.Its also fixed on PC?
nah, also that's some terrible cropping on the gif
I feel like the gameplay is kinda underrated. Some of these mini-bases in level 2 are not bad. Cover spots. Places to platform or hit groups with grenades. Its an above average FPS. Just need more weapons, but that's coming.
I purposefully was waiting until 12/31 to make my list.GOTY vote was too soon.
The PC version never had the particular frame rate issue as the console versions but it did get a patch and the patch does improve performance, it's just not as night and day as the consoles. Its also fixed on PC?
Yeah he was pushing it for sure lol.Performance is night and day vs yesterday. This session, I ran into a flying character that kept blabbering so annoyingly that I had to play muted for a couple minutes lol.
