Well, looks like the weather and lightning system is way better than the last game. So far it meets my expectations in most areas graphically and exceeds them in them in some. The fog/smoke and lighting is impressive.

lol I think they know what they are doing. This was probably done on purpose to get people used to the idea of a downgrade. or last gen visuals or whatever this is. This way when the demo does arrive 5 hours later, we have had the time to get over the initial disappointment, just judge the demo for the gameplay.

Wouldnt be surprised if this is the reason why they are doing its own state of play instead of showcasing it in their e3 conference which will likely only feature next gen games and make this game look dated as fuck.

Sorry I dont buy that excuse. I watched the 1080p stream of the UE5 demo and it didnt matter how compressed it was, its next gen-ness was apparent right away.

honestly, videogame maps always feel small, with a village or any interesting point right around the corner or a minute or so away...

we need more ample plains for horse riding. And given U5 is all about automatic LOD and tesselation I think we will finally see that in games rather than mini mountains in the way to hide geometry away as they load...

Brother, I'm watching it in 4K tv, and looks blurry as fuck. Even with that it looks impressive, and the audio as well is so insane.

UE5 lighting is much more accurate and photorealistic, this game is not really photorealistic 100%, more like a mix of that and art style like most of PS games except Death Stranding.

Asides from the random machine wailing, the environment sounds very lived in, I have a good office view of some hills/trees, and it all meshes together very nicely, from a 10,000ft overview, this game is looking good thus far. I'll reserve final judgement for the gameplay reveal.

this game will look amazing but some of you havent learn from halo infinite. we will be able to see the effects of cross gen. this is still a ps4 game at its core. be hyped but check your expectations. remember, this game needs to run on a base ps4 with a jaguar cpu and 1.8tf gpu.

What See is 4 times clouds and fog being used to obscure distance to not reveal PS4 can't do it and hence ps4 ps5 parity the later cannot have distinct graphical features..
Iam at that point extremy doubtfull that we get a proper ps5 version. They can claim that all they want.

You didn't think a game announced one year before it released was going to be a totally rebuilt game did you? This game is Horizon ZD 1.5.

Think Miles Morales. It's a PS4 Pro game with bells and whistles like RT. That's not bad at all. The biggest issue here is Sony upgrading HZD for the PS4 Pro. That destroyed the perception for the new game's graphics.
