Can I ask something, I game on a 1080p TV but I have set the capture to be in 4K resolution.

My understanding is that the quality of these screenshots I take, is the same quality as those that someone takes while playing in a 4K TV, right?

Haven't played Horizon yet and just came into this thread for the first time. Has this image been retouched at all? Because holy crap, the machine looks real!

Only playing with a filter available in photomode and ToD. Yeah, When I take a shot, my goal is to mimick real life lighting. I always thought that tricking people with a game shot is the most difficult exercise in photomode.
My main reference for light settings remains the reality, as long as it is possible by the context and the limit of the tools.

I like how they went full Matrix with the biggest mech.

Depends on which mode you're in. Performance mode will be 1080p, which is what is upscaled for 4K if that is set. Resolution mode is CBR 4K, which is what many of us are using (even on 1080p) and more representative of 4K image.

However, one thing photomode tends to lose is motion blur, which makes the game look even better while... in motion :D
