Europe is so fucked.
They need to start protecting their culture like Japan.
Someone hasn't followed the news. There wouldn't have been a more inappropriate time to post something like this than today.
Europe is so fucked.
They need to start protecting their culture like Japan.
Now you're just being part of the problem. No details have been given yet and you're already expecting this to be motivated along the same lines as others.

Yes let's all stick our heads in the sand and pretend things are normal in Europe. This is just a normal occurrence folks, nothing to see here, just a priest getting his throat slit. Could've happened to anyone.
Funny thing is, posters like you will see the far right rising in Europe and wonder why they're becoming so popular since everything is normal.
Yes I'm part of the problem. I'm partly responsible for these maniacs going around killing people. If only I would pretend things are normal. Now you're just being part of the problem. No details have been given yet, either about the identity of the perpetrators or motive, and you're already expecting this to be motivated along the same lines as others.
Maybe you should look up the word nuanceYes I'm part of the problem. I'm partly responsible for these maniacs going around killing people. If only I would pretend things are normal.
Not sure that's what the guy is saying, actually. There's a fair bit of ground between 'stop sensationalising' and 'ignore everything'.

I wonder who would do such a thing.
Ha.Just your everyday criminal, beheading priests. Obviously.
Yes that's what you got from my post. Well done. It's nice to see that you find joy in a priest losing his life.
It's happening so often that now it's normal. Not again, ffs. Every other day there is an attack in Europe
Yes that's what you got from my post. Well done.

Because it's now normal, there's nothing to worry about.
They've lost faith in the current governments we have and unfortunately are turning to the far right. If this keeps happening in France don't be surprised to see President Le pen in the next few years. This is getting out of hand. If this continues people will lose their faith in the government, in law and order. I wish there was an easy way to fix this.
Wow thats near me.
Any maniac will try to have their 5minutes of prime time now smh I blame media for fear mongering to the death these events

Is this sarcasm? That's it. The more you make noise about terrorism/terror events and the more you publicise them, the more they win. You are literally enabling their terror.
Are you proposing something or just commenting, cos whilst I agree with you. people ought to be informed about this sort of thing and when people hear that they are being targeted for death they do tend to panic/ over react / talk a lot of unrealistic nonsense. That's it. Yeah no, this argument falls apart when looking at entire continents in the world. The me and Africa has been suffering through turbulent times for decades now, yet it operates to a large fashion, unimpeded by total destruction. Yes the author mentions them but I fell to simply state, look it happened before, it'll happen again! Without taking into effect the wider far reaching effects of the regions.
The points the acticle makes are totally fair, reasonable and deserving of a read, however his/her regurgitation of history does not take into the technological progress of us as a species since ww2. Collateral damage prevention, which had fanned the flames of hate an violennce into the past, and security effectiveness has increased massively in the past few decades.
Is this sarcasm?
Thousands of people have been dying in the Middle East due to terrorism and that gets almost no news coverage.
I get that you shouldn't sensationalize the story, but keeping your public uninformed will not decrease the occurrence of the attacks.
It seems not related with terrorism.
Didn't the far right almost come to power in Austria? In fact they might still when the votes are recounted. As for the rise of the far right, the more this keeps happening and the more the Government looks hopeless it will eventually happen. It will not happen overnight but it will be gradual and will happen.Well yeah, but most people still don't trust the far right (and for good reason). Lots of my friends in Germany don't agree with the current CDU government but they are not crazy enough to vote for the AfD. You should be worried when the average swing voters are desperate enough to go to far right parties for solutions.
There's also been an attack in Japan, with at least 15 dead and dozens injured in a disabled facility.

Someone said what should the government do and I'm afraid I have no answer, but I'm also not a politician elected by the people to guarantee their safety. That's their job and they better come up with something quick because people are afraid.

It was terror related. Just not religious terrorism. It seems not related with terrorism.

I do agree the solution isn't easy, but to the people it looks like the various Governments are barely trying at all. Especially in France where Hollande is looking increasingly spineless and out of ideas. From a human point of view it does make sense to vote for the group that offers the simplest answers and that's the far-right. Trump saying he will build a wall and deport all Muslims makes sense to people who don't want to accept that there are no easy solutions to this problem. It makes them feel better if they keep it simple, approachable. Maybe they feel powerless and hopeless otherwise. If the far-right were to come to power though their lies would implode almost immediately. Just look at Brexit for instance.
I don't know. I don't know how we could solve this. Maybe propaganda? Tell those ISIS fighter they've been indoctrinated, give them hope, tell them suicide won't bring them to heaven? I also feel like the Muslim community is struggling with this, how the interpretation of Islam can be so wildly different. It makes fighting this so much harder. Because fighting it with weapons and air strikes won't solve anything.
It's sad to see that when people die in a terrorist attack, many posters are more worried about a possible rise of the far right than the people who got killed.
Yes but the point is they were inches away from power. That's worrying. The new votes won't change that much. The election was called off due to a technicality, not because of some counting error.
The priest was 86 years old. What's wrong with these people, they're evil AND cowards...

92 according to the BBC. Fucking animals - pleased the cops put them down, still better than they deserve though.
Because some people can also worry about the bigger picture.

I'm in that camp, because the rise of the far right will spiral into even more attacks, more violence, more people dying.

Joke post?If we had right wing governments 20 years ago who had actually stopped immigration, none of the current attack waves would ever have happened. The left are to blame for the current mess.
