I got this game for free thanks to Capbomb's VJ2 demo

And I don't know if it was really a bomb. Game came out in August...that's like 7 months ago? And it retailed at $39.99

Not worth it. The gameplay is solid but I'm not sure there is an option to disable all character voices. Its the worst voice acting I've ever heard. Every stereotype is in this game from the Italian Gangster to the Latina with an attitude. Gets very annoying.

Solid gameplay though.

i refuse to believe that those awful tiger woods games have displaced hot shots golf in the us. has sony even announced the psp version for domestic release? i'm just going to take solace in the long-detonated idea of the savvy japanese gaming public. it's a great game, anyway. if you can play ps2 imports, go with the japanese version. it's that much better without scea's stupid new characters.

Pretty sure its got a May release date. I imported Minna No Golf for PSP though; I hate what they do to the characters when they bring the games out over here. :/

I'm tempted to import, but then I wouldn't be able to play online. The PSP version has been more than satisfying for the time being.
