Episode 11

My line of thinking during certain scenes near the end:
Oh boy I see what's she's trying to do, how's this going to play out?

Meechum you traitorous son of a bitch you better not!

Frank knows! RIP Meechum.

Have you no shame you drunk bastards... OH... OH SHIT IT'S GOING DOWN! Wait a minute what are they... DEAR GOD WHAT? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAABAGGA

That's when the season became comical for me.

Just finished the last episode. Fantastic season!!! Have no idea where they'll go from this though.

Only think I disliked about this season was episode 11. My eyes...

Just finished it.

Best show I've seen in years. For shows still being made, it's on that tier with Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, and similar...and I don't say that lightly. Style, substance, presentation, and polish. Endlessly quotable, brilliantly written, exquisitely shot (seriously, the framing, lighting, clothing and set design...so good), finely acted.

I know HBO was pitched this concept before it was taken to Netflix. What a series they missed out on snagging. But I'm glad they did because I got to watch 3 months worth of episodes (if airing once a week) in 5 days. This show may hit my top 5. I just hope it doesn't jump any sharks. Whatever they're paying the team...pay them whatever is necessary to keep them together.

Episode 10

Why did they bring this hacking storyline back into the show? I got more than enough of it the first go around, and I will be angry if this has any major repercussions.

lol at Meachum walking in on Frank watching porn. I especially love that Frank just paused it and didn't even try to hide it when they were talking.

It's about time Jackie found out about Remy. The dude is bad news.

Robin Wright did a great job directing. She should do another episode or two next season as well.

This is exactly what I was thinking during that scene.

I just finished the season... Here's are my thoughts.

1-The whole hacking thing was ridiculous and stupid. I mean, some of that stuff was "Swordfish" level of stupid. "Hey guys, you need to use Tor to access.... THE DEEEEEP WEBBBB" lol come on.

As ridiculous and stupid as the hacker subplot was (and it really was), you picked out the one part that was not stupid. You do need to use Tor (or the other option he presented -- i2p) to access the hidden services he was talking about

That was pretty good. I don't know about the whole
Lucas being a dumbass and Zoe not backing up all the data history she had with Frank (which immediately made me think she was stupid as hell)
, but pretty good.

Yeah, of all the things to point at - that was not it. The part immediately before
- the random pop-ups and flickering (LCDS DON'T DO THAT GODDAMN IT!!!) -
and the iPad were way way worse.

My same feeling on it. Finished the season yesterday it was pretty good. Bring on season 3. Is that gonna be the last cause don't think anymore is needed.

Ugh, so Ep. 11 sounds like the episode. I knew I shoulda kept outta here.

Lol, naw it's just one of the moments thats a talking point.

IIt wasn't shocking. You could see the ball rolling from the start with meechum playing a bigger role and that they wanted something more than an exclusive relationship. Thought that scene was so damn hot lol. I was blushing and yelling at how crazy it was lol

Concerning the Much talked about Episode 11 Moment:
After that moment I assumed every scene with Frank was going to end in a threesome. It made many of the scenes Hilarious

Really?! It was awkward as hell. Had to leave it for a while and come back to finish it :(

Were you asleep during (s1)
the moon eyes Frank and his past classmate were giving eachother in the library?

What? It wasn't a surprise. EP 11
He's bisexual as we all know and there was heavy hinting with regards to Meachum throughout. The parts we saw were just awkward for me. Both visually and conceptually.

I just watched Season 2 Episode 1 (caught up with all of season 1 in the past couple days). All I have to say is:

Episode 1:
Francis' "Welcome Back" scene was fantastic! In addition, I'm completely cool with him murdering Zoe.

#TeamFrancis!

As a person who is from maryland and has spent many days in baltimore its so funny to see how almost everything in this show is filmed there. Fells point. Public housing near hopkins the list goes on.

Too funny.

I was blushing so hard. It was so, so hot. I think it's my favorite scene in the season.

If season 3 is the last, it'll end with BBC HoC spoilers
Franks assassination.

I feel like they're raised the stakes so much they're writing themselves into a corner.

OMG Kate Mara topless?!?! fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Photoshop, unfortunately.

Season 2 was definetly more scheming and planning than season 1. The episodes were generally less energized than season 1. Several storylines, moreso than season 1 were drawn out and boring. Even then I still love it. This is a great show, cannot wait for season 3. No one can match Claire and Francis so I'm very curious to know what season 3 could entail.

YO! if you're going to talk about spoilers from another show, say that its from the UK show. >_>

Fun Fact: Andrew Jackson, the one president Frank Underwood has a portrait of in his office, is the only president to ever had been popularly accused of murder. In a official duel Jackson misfired his gun, which by rule was supposed to mean the duel was over, but he recocked his gun and fired another bullet, killing a man after his duel was supposed to be officially over.

I just finished it myself. Spoiler tagging my reaction just in case.
God I can't wait for the walls to come crashing down on the Underwoods next season. They deserve it so badly at this point. And I'll be disappointed if the fall doesn't include Frank going to jail for murder.

I think season 3 should be the last season. They can't keep building Frank up much longer, and the show is at its end once he takes his inevitable fall.

It'll be interesting to see what type of producer Netflix will be. If they do what's right for quality and allow shows to have endings before they jump the shark, or are they going do what most broadcasters do and drill that well until it's dry.

Episode 11

Well, that was certainly interesting. I guess that explains why Frank didn't care about Meachum catching him looking at porn the last episode. I wasn't too terribly surprised and thankfully the show didn't make a big deal out of it.

Good to see Doug back to his usual self in this episode. He and Seth could make a great team, and I'm glad Frank gave him a third chance.

I love how Remy's idea of keeping work and personal relationships separated is that he can actively attempt to kill somebody's career but still want to be with them at the same time lol

I love when things start coming to a head in this show. All the plot lines are tying together and it will be interesting to see how it all goes down. I feel really bad for Rachel though. She's never going to have a normal life, and it's a shame because she really seems like a very nice person.

Can't wait to see if Frank has lured Jackie over to his side.

House of Cards took a very noticeable drop in quality with season 2.

At times some of it was even dare I say it, shite.

It left me feeling very disappointed.

It was a bit of a mixed bag of a season, but enjoyable in the main.
Some of the plot threads meandered and fizzled seemingly without much purpose. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright continue to be the very strongest things about the show and Season 3 needs a worthy character(s) for them to play off against to right some of the wrongs of this season.

Which ones? Don't forget it is only the second act...

The entire arc relating to
Freddy. It was just filler in the end. It really didn't contribute anything except to show that Tusk was ruthless. Way too much screen time for that payoff.

Also
Rachel's storyline as noted above.

Rachel's storyline felt directionless and took up a large part of the season. I mean, that whole lesbian relationship...

Even the most meaningful thing she did was a cliffhanger.

The whole storyline is setup for S3. You don't think the mysterious death of the VP's chief of staff right when he becomes President will be the start of Frank's downfall?
And the point of the Freddy episode to me was, just before everything comes to head, we are shown for one last time that Frank truly doesn't care about anybody.

What I liked about S2:
Underwood vs. Tusk was good to me. S1 there was no worthy adversary for Underwood, Tusk had the resources and power to come in his way.
