So no surprise Oct 30 announcements, for gaming. They would never, ever, sell at a loss. It would be very expensive.
I also don't think they would ever release a dedicated gaming device. They'll support gaming more and more as time goes on within their ecosystem.
I can definitely see more game announcements as time goes on.So no surprise Oct 30 announcements, for gaming.
I saw online that the entire event has already been leaked. No gaming centric hardware. Remedy releasing Control sometime next year.
I don't want the wrong people to engage in our hobby.
I could see $700-800 base version. I just don't see Apple bothering in the first place.$1000 for the cheapest version easily.
Digital only
Part of that is on Capcom though. The port is kind of meh.Apple's hardware is actually priced way more reasonably than people give them credit for.
You'd absolutely have a £400 entry level, with more storage increasing the price up to around £799 for 1tb, it would have 8gb of unified memory, all run on apple silicon and absolutely fucking SUCK because even an iPhone 17 Pro can barely hold 55fps on resident evil on lowest settings.
$1000 for the cheapest version easily.
Digital only
lmaoApple Care Ultra for $999 extends warranty to cover everything except anything that happens
.you mean an iPhone?
The controller attachment companies need to invent one that also includes a compartment to carry airpods. One less thing to lug around.why would they make a gaming handheld when you can just buy controller attachments for an iPad mini?
I can see Tim Cook now:.
Keep Apple far away from real gaming please. I'm fine with them lording over f2p mobile slop.
I agree.Yes.
They could cut out unnecessary 5G Cellular modem, GPS, etc…iPhone E models are $600 US.
Throw in a backbone or whatever for $50
$650
It's honestly kind of mediocre for the purpose for couple of reasons:They have one. It's called iPhone
It's honestly kind of mediocre for the purpose for couple of reasons:
Of course you can use an iPhone or Android phone for gaming, but I would argue that dedicated device can be a superior option.
- Not enough cooling. A gaming device could be thicker and even have a fan.
- You don't have enough battery power due to size constraints.
- Mobile phone screen is usually 21x9 or 20x9 ratio which when you add a controller makes the whole thing not exactly ideal, especially for emulation.
- You have to share battery and focus with other items since it's people's main mobile device.
- You have to have another accessory.
All that said, there is no way in hell that Apple would produce such a device. They are focused on AR glasses now.
Because people love consoles, not some shit that you have yet to build!why would they make a gaming handheld when you can just buy controller attachments for an iPad mini?
