Loving The Loop Closes and Speaking In Tongues in particular, but the whole EP is very good. It's sort of like a more ambient NIN with a female vocalist, and I've always been happy with that.

I think its great! On the Loop is epic. Looking forward to seeing how they are selling this thing, and what special merch (if any) they'll be doing with it.

TDS is amazing and The Fragile is his best album. With Teeth is also great, I know a lot of people who hate it.

I really feel like his work peaked at The Fragile and then With Teeth was great but not as good and then it just got worse and worse.

Year Zero was pretty good, I kinda like the remix version better. The Slip had some great songs, and I know it was a quick freebie album, but its def his weakest album.

But really, Reznors worst song is still better than 90% of the music out there right now.

I agree 100% with everything here.

I'm on The sleep of reason right now. I'm liking everything so far, although I wish there was a song that was a bit more similar/rock-pop like Fur Lined! :(

Jeez fantastic stuff! Way better than I expected it to turn out. Only thing that irks me is Trent's vocals over Mariqueen on Keep It Together, drop his vocals out and I could listen to this on repeat for days.

Trent provided us with many good years with NIN, hopefully he does the same with HTDA.

That beat and piano that comes in after the break in On the Wing. "Used to.. believe in you..." so awesome.

I fucking LOVE this EP. Ice Age is such an awesome departure in style and the Dream one where she says "Wake up.." is seriously creepy. Reminds me of the weird dream-like state of Ghosts. So unexpected, can't wait for the album to be out.

listened to it. quite good! I think the song they released first is the weakest one on the EP, the rest are very nice. Will take me a couple of listens to fully "embrace" it, though.

I have to say, however, that "The Loop Closes" is damn catchy.

I didn't really care for the first track either. Everything else was great though. The Loop Closes is definitely the best song right now.

I need Trent's black ops 2 theme as well. Sounds like it could have been a lost track from The Fragile - http://youtu.be/-YB0QWnJMW8

Nope. Still not liking the direction he's taken his music. Give me the Trent Reznor that gave me Pretty Hate Machine all the way up to The Fragile & we'll talk turkey. Till then, I'll pass.

This isn't Nine Inch Nails dude. It's HTDA and it's supposed to be different.

The more I listen to it the more I like it. Also, "industrial jam session" is a perfect way to describe it. And, yes, I realize the previous poster meant it pejoratively.

Just dug into How to Destroy Angels recently. I like it but I can't really say that I love it. A lot of it feels flat. I do find myself listening to it now and then, but its hard to say I'd call myself a fan, even though I would...Know what I mean?

I know your feel bro. I'm having a hard time getting into it and it's not really a matter of "letting it grow" on me. NIN tracks that grew on me had certain elements that hooked me enough to give them a chance. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about this HTDA EP.

Also lol @ Rob Sheridan.
