Resident Crybaby
An easy "A" from me.

  • No fluff
  • Every game looked fantastic
  • Almost all games only months away
  • Huge surprise in Ninja Gaiden 4
  • Massive "now available" drop with Ninja Gaiden 2 Black

Going with B just because we didn't see Oblivion

A. I genuinely want to play all the games.

DOOM went from being a meh at the reveal to must play. It looks INSANE. I really appreciate getting proper cutscenes!

A, no doubt. Xbox felt very confident, kicking off with Ninja Gaiden 4 and shadow dropping a NG remake. The rest of the lineup looks equally incredible. South of Midnight, Expedition 33 and Doom The Dark Ages all feel like certified bangers.

C.

It shows how mediocre Xbox has become and how they can only rely on nostalgia from the most dedicated fans.

The only reason I didn't give a D is because I somewhat liked the art direction of South of Midnight and Clair Expeditions or whatever it's called.

Very rare is any game maker showcase great. Most are somewhere in the middle with some high and lows. This one was a clear winner. Good focus on select games, NGBII stealth drop and well presented showing gameplay.

Solid B. With only 4 games and one of them being a stinker I can't go with an A. But the 3 games that were great were really great. Presentation could've been better, less people walking through corridors and talking about how IMPORTANT it is for them to join the project or whatever. Solid B.

Given it a C, the games themselves all looked good but it didn't need 50 minutes for 5 games. So much waffle over studio B roll made me bored even though as I said the games were interesting.

Also I got distracted by the Pokémon during the Doom section rather than focusing on the MS game.

Don't care about any of these games but I'm sure lots of people do, so that's a good thing.

Microsoft saving PS5 single handed is the biggest news here. Sony in BIG trouble once again. How about some games Sony?

Didn't watch it, but Ninja Gaiden was nice surprise. Much better secret game than a fucking Oblivion remake.

B.

Ninja Gaiden 4 / Ninja Gaiden 2 Black shadow drops are amazing announcements.

DOOM looks meh, not my style of game at all - And Cant fucking stand that abysmal Metal soundtrack.

Dont care for the other 2 games. Though I respect the hell out of Expedition 33 game, looks unique and is a New IP so I hope its successful.

Entirely based on what I like. a C.

To each their own, I'm sure plenty will play everything shown. All I really am looking forward too is Expedition 33 and I don't really dig this direct format TBH.

I can see it being an easy A/B for many though.

Sony produced their own Team Ninja game a year ago, let's not get crazy here.

A. Just straight up great format refined, I love dev deep dives plus awesome games on display, all just few months away. Nice job Phil

Ninja Gaiden is fucking back, baby. Legit made my day. The rest looked cool too but NGB is a top 5 videogame of all time. I think I'm more hyped for NG2 Black than the new game.

A, easy. Was excited from beginning to end. Low point was South of Midnight....but even that game looks very interesting to me.

The Dev talks mixed with a lot of gameplay is proving to be an effective formula for these presentations.

Solid pacing. But outside of Ninja Gaiden, which was super exciting tbf, the rest wasn't for me.

Really wish I enjoyed the DOOM games, the new one looks incredible, but the games just don't click with me.

B maybe.
