Elite Dangerous is kinda disappointing on Vive. I mean it looks great but for some reason that I can't point out it actually looks better on my DK2! WHY!?! =(

I prefer the cockpit view in Radial-GRadial-G is fine
But F-Zero GX in VR is better
Is there a way to turn Chaperone off entirely? No grid, no floor?

Use a Rift? =P Seriously though, I doubt they'd allow you to turn it off completely for safety and lawsuit reasons. Perhaps you could manually edit the chaperone bounds to be greater than the actual room.

By FAR the most impressive tilt brush video I've seen so far. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hus86Jw2GSo&feature=youtu.be
You can turn off the grid with the "Developer" option in chaperon settings. The floor remains, though.
Is anyone here using a space that has more than 15 feet from lighthouse to lighthouse. I have to move this to to my theater room as my study has way too many windows/reflections and my Vive looses it's mind in a certain corner of the room. I should be ok at about 18' if I use the the connection cables right. Was there some company or somewhere that did this?
Yeah, I know of that option. That's not off entirely though which was the question.

Oh shit. It's happening. A few comments on the Reddit thread mention this can and does work with other games, it's just that the dev hasn't tested them yet so YMMV. Hopefully this works with Technolust since I already bought it before canceling my Rift.https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive

Will be interesting to see if Oculus takes steps specifically to break/block it. If so, it will shed light on how flimsy their excuses for SDK incompatibility wereIndeed. The walls are coming down. Predictable though. One way or another it was going to happen, regardless of what the companies might want.
So I'm trying to install Oculus Store and some software to test out the new Vive translator, and I've suddenly remembered that I can't install anything except to the C drive. So I follow Oculus' guide to symlinking on their official site, and it doesn't work. I can link two folders on separate drives, but when that happens, Oculus Home won't open anymore.
And the guide acknowledges that this could happen and says they are looking into it.
Jesus christ, they weren't ready for this launch at all.

According to Luckey, they wont do anything against that. I could guess in a 1.4 SDK though it would be fixed.
And I am sure Palmer isnt the one calling the shots anymore.

The only thing I think they might do in the near term is make it so that Lucky's Tale is not just free by default by installing the Oculus app. To be fair it probably shouldn't be handled that way.
I get a failed entitlement check message with a bug on a log wagging its tongue at me when trying to launch Lucky's Tale with the patch. Anybody get it to work?
Wait Vive has support for Oculus Home now?
Also I would like to thank a very kind Lemonte for giving me his bundled Vive games code. I can't wait to play Job Simulator ;-;
enable outside sources then reboot.
Oh snap, the non-lucky's tale specific patch works with unity and UE4, not specifically dreamdeck. I have a Technolust code, gonna try it.

ED is broken, fam. Don't worry about how it looks yet. If you need settings advice, I'm happy to help. But yea, until FDev fixes the implementation, it's gonna be kinda ugly.
so heads up, every time you install something it seems you need to reenable outside sources (even if it's enabled) and reboot. I got the same "unknown sources" error with dreamdeck even though I had it enabled.
Were you able to get it working for Technolust? For Dreamdeck it says to put the injector into the win64 binaries folder but no such folder exists for Technolust, assuming just the front directory with the exe?
Whenever I have issues figuring out what folder to put a file in, I just put it in all of the folders.
