I can't remember the name of this Movie/Cartoon/Song/etc.

Also, what is this from?:

What was the name of that game/anime that was released in the US a few years ago? It was kind of like Yu-Gi-Oh but had like marbles or something that popped into the monsters.

I'm trying to remember a few childrens books:

1. This book was about dwarf type creatures, they rode in soap bubble helicopters. There was a giant who wanted to be small? Or the other way around? And the giant gave tours to the other creatures in wooden compartments hung from his shoulders. There was a (baby?) dragon too, and some kind of magic pepper they ate. There were cross sections that showed their houses and stuff.

2.This one I can barely remember, but I heard Scott C. from Doublefine refer to it on a podcast, it had cross sections of trees and stuff where little creatures lived, and thye where going to battle? wearing little helmets and maybe riding in boats? They were tiny and and the illustrations were really nice.

any help would be appreciated!

Cartoon from early 90s i can't for life of me remember what it was called...
The intro sequence showed the two heroes which were an anthropomorphic small mammal of some kind (maybe a rabbit) - they were a boy and a girl. They lived in an Observatory. The antagonist was a gigantic skeletor/mumm-ra type figure with a reptilian, skull like face.

Might have been called Dreamkeepers or something like that, but google isn't my friend there.

Might be one of the Redwall stories?

I saw this action movie playing but don't know the title.
It had a bald guy as the lead, a tattooed girl skilled in martial arts and a bunch of Arabs and Africans.
It's not Hitman or Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

So many years ago an old VHS tape I'd recorded had the beginning of another movie at the end. I have always wanted to watch that whole movie (though I'm sure it's terrible).

The premise is that a young guy has some sort of problem (incurable illness?) in the 50/60s maybe, and gets cryogenically frozen and wakes up in present day (probably 80s). Can't remember much else but if anyone finds it, it'll change my life!

This one has been bugging me for so long, since I saw it back in the 80's as a kid.

I'm not sure if it was a movie or a tv show (more likely a movie though), the only details I remember is that it looked like it was filmed in the 60s or 70s, had a British or Australian cast and seemed to be about some kind of special truck, an experimental truck (nuclear or jet powered or something?). There were these kids and a guy in the truck being chased by someone. It was set some arid setting, either the middle east or Australia.

Probably Late For Dinner, possibly Forever Young.

Sounds like Blast from the Past.

Posted in another thread but I wanted to ask here as well:

Hello Gaf, I've been meaning to find out this particular movie for many years but I don't know enough of it to find an answer on Google. I watched it in elementary school around 1992-1993 so it must have been released around that time. I only remember a couple of bits of it and nothing of it's storyline...here it goes:

I remember there were a couple of kids doing some sort of detective work and reviewing photos that they took earlier in the day/week, and they discovered someone was peeking behind a wall in one of the photos. Further through the movie a girl walks into a tiny room and from what I remember someone in a black dress (without a top half of the body) walks in and the girl faints from seeing the figure.

Any idea??

Please help, been searching for years. I remember watching some sort of animated movie or show in 1998-1999. I was 6 at the time so I dont remember much, happened to be in Mexico at the time. It was a dark gloomy, perhaps anime, movie with mechas. There were 3 girls iirc that were friends, each had their own mecha. I remember that in order to control the mechas they were inside the things practically naked with extensions that covered their private areas. When the mechs felt damage, the feelings would be felt by the rider as well, idea was the same with cutting of an arm. I think I recall one of the girls dying. If i remember correctly the main characters mecha was red, and some of the opposing mechas were black [may have been able to fly]. I have some vague images of a snake like mecha in the water at night. It was a pretty violent movie/show that I probably shouldn't have been watching at the time.

I do realize that it could be from anytime between 70s-99 but if any of you guys remember anything remotely close, please let me know.

Yoshichan

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
I don't remember anytying besides one thing... It was like a horror movie, a person opens up a door insise an apartment and there's tons of rats in it.

There was a cartoon I watched when I was very young. It was probably made in the late 80s/early 90s. I think it was set is space and had a sci-fi kind of vibe. The man characters were a group of kids and they had a large dog companion. I can't remember if it was a real-world dog or an alien one. That's about all I can remember. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

Did some research and one that is close to that description is the 1990 show Midnight Patrol: Adventures in the Dream Zone which was the US title or was also called in the UK as Potsworth And Company

I have been looking for the title of this novel for years ... I used to own it but can't find it ...

I'm pretty sure it's by a UK author

Story as far I can remember:

It's set in the North of England
A really intelligent University graduate is spending summer slumming it doing manual work specifically bashing in fenceposts, and he's enjoying the simple life, going out for few beers with the lads etc.but when it comes time to leave things keep conspiring to stop him, little things at first, but the more desperate he gets the nastier darker and more disturbing it gets

The upshot is that he's in purgatory or hell and is stuck there forever

Hope someone can help

This wasn't a movie I saw as a kid but one I saw a few years ago (partially while it was on TV) so I'm posting here anyway. I thought this was a Planet Of The Apes movie but after going through the entire collection of it none of the scenes I remember from this movie showed up in any of the POTA movies. So here goes:
I remember a human, a gorilla and few other apes entering an old/ancient city in ruins with tall buildings (basically a post-apocalyptic modern looking city). The gorilla and human fell underground in some room (or subway) and instead of fighting each other they decided to cooperate to get out of the room. This kept going on until the gorilla saw an old poster put on the wall which displayed a gorilla in a cage eating a banana, some circus stuff basically. This made him furious and a fight ensued between him and the human. I also recall that at the end of the movie some apes decided to burn electronical devices and stuff, human-made things which they had no clue about and this led to the entire building exploding...well something like that anyway. I think the movie ended after that. Anyone have any idea what movie this could be?

Sounds like it's from the TV series, episode 3 "The Trap"

From wikipedia:
Burke and General Urko are forced to work together when they are buried alive underground in an ancient San Francisco subway station during an earthquake.

I've been trying for years to find this graphic novel that I checked out of the library back in the late 80s / early 90s. I wouldn't be surprised if it was by a Heavy Metal contributor, but this was a standalone graphic novel. It was in black and white. The plot was kind of a metaphysical fantasy story about a man going into a dungeon/cavern on a quest. He encounters various manifestations of the same entity - first a cartoony worm, then a large serpent as the man crosses an underground river, then a more human figure. It turns out the entity represents his shadow self or something like that, and the two of them end up falling into a deep abyss and kind of merge into each other in a final trippy sequence. Ring any bells?

I always thought this was the kid from Goonies plus Picard from Star Trek First Contact

It's two movies: Star Trek: First Contact and The Goonies.

Trying to remember a pair of short Marvel what if comics about a world where (most) the big supers of the Marvel Universe experience their origin events but all of their powers or origins back fire horribly and horrifically. Basically told from the perspective of an old newspaper writer who is under the impression that his world is strange, that "a few things that were supposed to happen didn't" or something like that. Can't remember what it is called.

A cartoon, saw it when i was young in the 90s.
All i remember were that there were evil/bad hogs. Possibly set in a swamp/farm.

Really cant give anymore info, i dont remember much at all.

Old Italian ( I think) horror movie, it's from the early 70's, really old and cheesy, all I remember was it was like this small coastal town and these grim reapers riding on horses came out at night and terrorized the town, there were lots of hot European women, I saw this when I was just a child, was terrified and turned on all at the same time... anyone?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7q880Sbobk Could this be it? It's call "The Boys From Brazil"

It was a newer series starting 2010's. I don't remember much about it but what I do remember is some guys talking on an airplane then it goes "xx minutes later" it did this like 10 times during the first episode. Sadly all I can remember.
