I can't remember the name of this Movie/Cartoon/Song/etc.

80s/90s chinese flick

only scene I've seen is a guy driving a jeep down a highway at another guy, that other guy shoots the jeep with a grenade launcher and activates chain-activated exit-sign ramp-trap that send the jeep flying through the air, grenade launcher man shoots the jeep while it's in the air, guy lands and jumps out, shootout ensues where grenade launcher man swaps out for a shotty and is rolling along the ground dodging jeep man's gunfire.

Shotty-man leaps over railing and jeep-man drives off. Shotty man pulls out walkie-talkie and say something along the lines of "Phase 1 is complete!"

OMG that's it, thank you.
Now one other that has stumped me for nearly 2 decades - it might be a movie or TV show,
The guy had this pet goldfish or carp that was flopping around out of water, so he had to break into his trailer and put it back in the bowl.

That's a good ass movie. They need to do a sequel that follows one of the fully grown clones.

It no problem I will tell my grandmother I read it to you thanked her. How about mine? I know its a TV show and it was 2010-2013. I looked up a few loooong lists of cancelled tv series and skimmed them but none of them rang any bells but I found a few I need to watch now.

There's this children's cartoon I saw as a kid. I only remember fragments. It featured grinch like characters I think. They were green, and they had some device they used to fly with. And there was this evil guy/professor who had a long nose with several layers of glasses placed along his nose. And this evil guy worked with a dragon like creature, or something.

Anyone have any idea what it might be?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7q880Sbobk Could this be it? It's call "The Boys From Brazil"

It was a newer series starting 2010's. I don't remember much about it but what I do remember is some guys talking on an airplane then it goes "xx minutes later" it did this like 10 times during the first episode. Sadly all I can remember.

Possibly 'The Event'? That had a lot of time jumping in the early episodes, plus a crashing airliner.

A cartoon, saw it when i was young in the 90s.
All i remember were that there were evil/bad hogs. Possibly set in a swamp/farm.

Really cant give anymore info, i dont remember much at all.

Was it a Saturday morning cartoon? I sorta remember a show like that where it was anthropomorphic barnyard pigs vs cows. One side was good, one was bad. I can't remember the name of it either. (but I know it wasn't Cowboys of Moo Mesa)

Is this the one where the General was on a submarine and was informing his crew they had to fire on the U.S.? And this is the one I was thinking of! Thank you Doctor.

Sounds like the 50s animated adaptation of Animal Farm.

na, it was more modern, i think 80s/90s.

Honestly I cant remember much about it. I dont think it was a tv show, i think it was a cartoon movie (cant be sure)
Also these werent like humanoid evil hogs or whatever. I probably shouldnt have said 'evil' lol. Basically the hogs terrorized
A) a farm
B) other animals

I'm trying to remember the name of an old Dracula movie I saw as I kid. I would have seen in in the early 80s, but it was much older and most likely black and white.

All I can recall is at the start of the movie they had found or dug up Dracula's casket which contained his already dead body with a stake though his heart. The stake was removed for whatever reason and he returned to life. That's all I got.

I'm assuming it was a sequel since he was already dead in the beginning and possibly a Hammer film, though I'm not knowledgeable on their catalog at all.

Edit: Hmm maybe its section z..but i could have sworn the cover had a chick with a helmet on..

This game on the NES
It was a sci-fi/space side scrolling (well, i think you were in some kind of mech suit flying, think gundam/robotech (OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST A SUIT, CANT REMEMBER) and it had a pretty dark tone.

Im fairly certain on the cover of the cartridge was a chick, blue'ish cover.

Looking for the name of an early 90s thriller movie. Only remember a few parts of it though.

It had a stalker woman who wore a white mask. At the end of the movie she had captured the main character and had him tied up. Somehow he got free and strangled her.

There's a movie I saw in the late 80s that I've been trying to find for a while now.

The movie is about a man that kills a guy and runs away and ends up motel/bar in the desert and agrees to clean up the back yard for the owner of the establishment in order to pay for his room.

The investigators spend a while trying to figure out what the murder weapon was and eventually discover that he used his hands. We also discover that he is a cyborg/has robot parts in him.

Later, some people find him and he kills one of them by punching him through his helmet visor.

This is a long shot since it is not pop culture, but I'll try anyways. In high school, I read a book about the Russian gulags. I think the book was named after a Russian city or the name of the gulag itself. May have been during WWI or II, but not sure.

The scene I remember vividly from the book was when the main character (boy or teen at the time) was lined up in front of a ditch of dead people waiting to be exterminated. He was shot, but not fatally wounded. He fell into the ditch with the other victims and pretend to be dead. Later that night, he crawled out from amongst the corpses and ran away.

Does anyone remember a show on MTV where people would write in with ideas for skits and they would act them out? It could have been ideas or specifically dreams. I remember one where some guy said he dreamt that the lead singer to the B-52s was following him around and announcing everything that he was doing. He went to the bathroom and it showed the lead singer outside of the stall singing "everybody's taking a poopoo!"

I believe that was The State, I could be wrong though.

Sounds like the animal farm movie based on the Orwell novel. The hogs weren't very anthropomorphized.

Guys can you help me with the name of a song, it's used in many movies as a "feel good" song, I don't remember the lyrics, it's kinda 60 wave, the chorus goes like "in a rainy night - end of first verse- we'll be together" (no those are not the lyrics but i can remember some vowels sounds, it sounds like an old boy band. Any guesses? Thanks!

Saw a movie when I was maybe 7-8 years old, loved it, but for the life of me can't remember what it's called. The specifics are very hazy, but I believe It was about kids (boy and a girl?) who get a treasure map, and go on some adventure hunting it down. Meanwhile, another guy is also after it, and they have some showdown underground as they close in on finding it at the end. Setting is contemporary-ish, I'm certain either 80's or 90's. Does it ring a bell with anyone?

Nah, but in a sorta similar vein. I'm pretty sure it was just a pair of kids, and the final showdown was definitely underground (I seem to remember some kind of underground waterfall with it). Also, there was a clue in a hotel perhaps? It's really fuzzy, I just don't have much to go with.

???

"Buttercream Gang in Secret of Treasure Mountain" (Video 1993)? I'm leaning toward this one.
Discovering part of an ancient Spanish treasure map, young Eldon Flowers dreams of finding gold. He could be rich, and he could also help Mr. Graff who is about to lose his home. Eldon secretly hopes this valiant deed will make him the hero he longs to be. With help from the other ButterCreamers, he embarks on a quest that will lead him to a concealed crypt in an old monastery, a deep cave hidden high in a mountain, and face to face with three greedy characters who will stop at nothing to find the treasure first. Eldon must often make difficult decisions that help him discover much more than gold. He finally sees himself as others do and begins to understand what being a hero really means.

I have a few I've been trying to figure out.

1) It's an animated easter movie from the 80's to mid 90's. It's about a boy who lives on a farm and some kind of angel or fairy gives the animals on the the farm ability to talk I think. I remember a scene of her in the woods. I think there was a duck that wore boots. There was also a farmer with a beard that that wore a metal suit and I think he maybe robbed a bank?

2) A live action maybe kids/family movie from the late 80's to mid 90's. This boy goes to some kind of circus or carnival and finds a Frankenstein statue in some kind of exhibit and somehow he ends up trying to bring back to life I think? That's mostly all I remember. It was on tv.

3) Another 80's to 90's animated movie about animals that wore hawaiian shirts. Two kids move into a new house and go up into the attic and somehow end up meeting them. I found it on youtube a few years ago but forgot and couldn't find it again.

Just a helpful tip for future requests: instead of saying "when I was 7 or 8" tells us the approximate year. We don't know how old you are so saying when you were six is pretty useless information.

cheststrongwell

my cake, fuck off
Not sure if this was a movie or tv show.

Would have been around 80 to 83

The only scene I remember involves an older couple and a chimp. The old guy didn't like the chimp for some reason. He and the chimp got into an elevator and he gave it a poisoned banana. The chimp died.

That is all I remember. My mom made me leave the room and it really freaked me out. This is one of my first memories.

I think this was a movie, saw it in like 2001 when I was 5, but I think the movie was from like the 60s or 70s. I remember it being science fiction and British and I THINK one of the characters was a police officer or something.

Because Ahasverus was able to help me out last night, I figured I'd try one more. It was a flick I saw as a kid (mid to late 90's) but I'm pretty certain it's an older movie, pre 1980. It has to do with explorers discovering a city at the north pole (or maybe Antarctica). I can't remember much else, although I think the explorers crashed and discovered it by mistake. Anyway, maybe someone knows it? Thanks!

Sounds like the plot to At the Mountains of Madness. Don't know if that was ever turned into a movie though. Also sounds like Alien vs Predator but of course that only came out a few years ago.

Do you remember if it was color or black and white?

Definitely color, which I guess means 60's or 70's. And yeah, it is kinda similar to the plot of Mountains of Madness, but I don't recall it really being a horror film.

Here we go, there was an anime that i used to watch around 6 or 7 years ago whose name always slips my mind. I remember only a few things of the show. The main character was a man and he was possibly a bounty hunter. He had a spaceship that saw regular use (I think, though I might be mixing up shows with this).

The main thing I remember was that he used a gun to fight people and a big point of the show was that he had different types of ammo that he used. These each had some crazy effect as far as I remember.

Any ideas?

help on this movie please. watched somewhere from roughly 90-95, but possibly from the 80s as it was a vhs from the library. centered around middle-aged men and women (2 or 3 of both), with the main quirk being that (at least the women's) limbs would contort or fall off. magic was involved or perhaps immortality. it was a comedy, or at least it was funny to me, perhaps with romantic elements involved. though i do remember there being conflict between some of them. competition or jealousy? love triangle? i want to think bill murray, but nothing in his filmography looks familiar.

This thread is is perfect for what I need. I just remembered a halloween movie from either abc family or disney on tv. I think it was about about some kid who died in a furnace or something at school. All I remember was that there was a lot of pumpkins and some kinda twist about the kid or whoever was doing the haunting/ghost stuff.
