I don't think I've ever been as hyped for a game as I'm for hogwarts legacy

JokerMM

Gay porn is where it's at.
This game if it delivers 60% of what it promises it will probably ends up my GOTY even with the heavy hitters next year, as a fan of the films it looks fucking magnificent, a dream game for me as I grew up watching the films.
Curious to know if anyone here feels thevdame

It's weird, I can't stand Harry Potter (books or the movies) but I'm legitimately looking forward to this game. It's a good idea that I'm surprised wasn't done earlier.

Yeah, im not a Harry Potter fan, but so far the game looks good. Also not a fan of magic combat but this and Forespoken seem to be nailing fun magic combat systems. Will not be getting it at launch but its on my wishlist.

I would be shocked if this even turns out anything above decent. Looks like it's simply trying to do way too much for its own good. Can easily see this as being a game which does a few things well with most other things being average if not worse. I hope to be wrong but I can't think of the last time a game developer tried for such an optimistic game which matched/exceeded expectations after a good 10+ years of making small titles.

I'm in the same boat, my other half even cancelled the preorder she did for my Christmas present two years ago recently & upgraded it to the deluxe edition as it's only £63 for the series X version at shopto :D

That being said, it's the game I'm most looking forward too, right next to wo long after seeing it's gameplay :)

I'm genuinely excited for this game as well. If the magic from the films and books translates well into the game, it'll probably be my game of the year hands down.

Harry Potter concluded over a decade ago and there are still people who want to feel that sense of adventure at Hogwarts. I'm not going to purchase it myself, but I hope everybody has fun and enjoyment.

I'm pretty excited for it, but still very cautious.

Some gameplay showing was
...doubtfull and I'm not fan of this potion making system. Also, I hate when they keep pushing creature cares in the game, its the worst aspect of Harry Potter series. Also, the fact that you can't play like the books, like starting as a kid and then growing up, its a miss potential imo.

I have high expectations for this game. Hope it delivers.

Tried to watch Harry Potter movies and after the first one, the rest of them bored me hard. BUT this game and what the dev is promising is exciting. Although i'm trying to keep hype at low so I don't be disappointed.

I dunno. I've read the entire main series, and see the films up The Half-Blood Prince. Seems like a series that was geared for too young a crowd, and then halfway through, it just became the edgy kind of grimdark. Game looks great, and the universe is cool, but the story of the titular character just..
Never did much for me.

I'm all for GTA Hogwarts.

Well...it will be more like bully, but Avalanche ain't no Rockstar. I'm sure it will be good, but I'm not that confident that it wil be great when taking into account the developers track record.

Not for me but I'm definitely aware of how big this is for fans. A property I like can make a 7/10 games totally enthralling to me. Battletech is like that

Hoping for an awesome game. Looks really fun from what I've seen.

I was going to disagree with you on the studio, but then I remembered there are two studios named Avalanche. Damn.....I was hoping this from the guys who did Mad Max, which I loved.

Wish I could care about HP and share the feel OP. Hope the game is cool and you have tons of fun.

Right, I never watched Harry Potter as it looked stupid to me but I've seen a fantastic beast movie and didn't like but this game is the second most hyped game for me after Suicide Squad. But this Hogwarts game looks amazing. Only bad thing I didn't like about what I've seen is the wand fighting? Looks to get old quick

Must be a generational thing. Nothing about this game interests me and I like the books and movies. Wand shooting was never a fun game mechanic.

Throw me into the super keen group. Love the HP books and movies. Don't care all that much for Fantastic Beasts, but the world is still neat.
For me the game looks great from what we've seen.

I'm very cautiously optimistic. I don't know how much I expect from this studio but what I've seen has looked promising. At least for me it will come down to
1. How interesting and varied are the classes (and will you go through all 7 years?)
2. Will the spells be varied or will the combat mostly be like a 3rd person shooter with wands instead of guns?
3. How interesting is the overarching plot

This game has potential to be one of my favorite games of all time, or it could be disappointingly mediocre, but I have hopes it can be something like a combination of Bully/Persona/Fire Emblem 3 Houses in the Harry Potter universe, and that would be amazing

Same! Really cannot fucking wait!!! I hope the classes are like the persona games, where you gain skills and permanent upgrades from attending and participating

I'm one of those very rare people that have never read or watched anything Harry Potter. This world and characters would mean absolutely nothing to me going in. LOL

I'm looking forward to the game as I enjoyed the books/movies. Also I will triple buy to stand in solidarity with JK Rowling. Fuck Imran(I'm a cunt) Khan wannabe game journalist.

Unproven studio, gamified Ubi elements, underwhelming graphics. Wish I shared the same excitement. Expecting a 6.5,7/10 experience. Any more I'll be shocked
