I rewatched the prequels over Christmas.
The Phantom Menace is mediocrity defined but it is the best of the three by quite a wide margin. Like most people, I used to think Attack of the Clones represented the absolute nadir of the series, but Revenge of the Sith botches Anakin's transformation into Vader so severely that I'm willing to say it's even worse.
I LOVED the vibe and art direction.... and liked the rest of the movie when I was younger.
Wut
I'd argue it might be the only good one. Also, The Phantom Menace is still the best title of any Star Wars movie.
III is better than VI, despite pacing problems.
(btw Puppet PM Yoda>CGI!)
I'd argue it might be the only good one.
I always liked Young Anakin >_>
I mean I absolutely despise his character in the other two Prequel movies... but he was a cool kid in Phantom.
i will say one thing the Pepsi cans were sick

I sincerely cannot tell if this is supposed to be sarcastic. ._.Me personally, I loved the Phantom Menace and I think it rivals The Empire Strikes Back.
Many people like to nitpick minor things like "character development" or "politics", but things like podracing and the vistas offer something new to the Star Wars franchise and deepen my appreciation for all the other movies by providing an expanded mythos to the universe.
Not only does it make every Star Wars movie better, but movie was able to pull off darker themes like slavery, hostage situations, and poverty-- all incorporated seamlessly into a Star Wars movie.
Actually, you know what, I'd say TPM is better than Empire.

Thanks for posting this; I can't believe I've never seen it before. Possibly even better than "Yoda" as a Weird Al Star Wars parody.
