My 1.5TB external drive died today. ~1.3TB of media gone. *poof* Just like that. Seems the only way I'll be able to download it all again within a reasonable time frame (I have a 200GB monthly quota which I chew through as it is) is to churn to BigPond on their $280p/m Unlimited business plan. Ugh. (Edit: Scratch that, it has a 24-month contract.)
To make matters worse, my Windows installation decided to dick itself. It wouldn't boot, and Windows Repair couldn't find an existing installation. What does it say when I go to install Windows again? "Blah blah seems there's an existing installation blah blah."
So fucking fucked off right now. Every fibre in my body was urging me to grab the sledgehammer from the shed and just start smashing my useless PC to bits.
