Welcome to the wonderful world of PCs, where the problem is almost always something minute and easy to overlook like that. I've literally spent hours trying to troubleshoot something like no audio coming out of my headphones when it turns out I just accidentally unplugged them.
So the page you want
is here.
You'll more likely than not want to download the newest stuff. Personally, I am Captain Anal about keeping my system updated. That comes down to personal preference I guess.
Start from the bottom and download & install these things. The order which you do it doesn't matter terribly (your PC will not melt if you don't do it this way), but here's what I suggest.
1) System & Chipset Drivers - Intel Chipset Driver
2) Others Drivers - Intel Management Engine Driver+Microsoft hotfix
3) On-Board LAN Drivers - Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Drivers
4) On-Board Audio Drivers - Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
5) On-Board SATA AHCI/RAID Drivers - Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver
That should give you everything you need. In a lot of cases, this stuff is probably already working via a Generic or built in Windows driver, but I would install these versions anyways.
Then, you can venture into the Utility section at your own peril. The only stuff there you might be interested in are the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (which I'm guessing is overclock settings/tweaks but in Windows instead of the BIOS), Live Update 6 (helps to keep your BIOS updated... if you are a total noob you probably won't be comfortable doing this through DOS or the BIOS itself). Looks like they also have some kind of Command Center program that might do a lot of this stuff as well.
Generally I tend to stay away from this type of stuff but that's because I know how to do everything in other ways without installing these programs. For a new person, I think they can be invaluable to help you understand what you can do with your PC while still giving you some safeguards to prevent any unfortunate mishaps.
