IGN: "Console Gaming is Too Damn Expensive, Something Has to Give."

At this point, presenting facts and figures that physical has declined into a small niche, is redundant.
First - 25-30% is not a small niche
Second - it's even more interesting if we look at actual distribution and not push agenda based on "average" numbers. And distribution is quite uneven - place like Japan still has majority on physical media
Actual situation is much more complex that some people claim based on their perception of "average"

Personally I expect to see Slim/Pro situation next gen where base console is digital and drive is optional attachment (included in sku or not)

You started this with me and for no other reason then you are a warrior - one who can't understand that other people have different preferences. Attempting to deflect this by saying the equivalent of "no u" will not work. I clearly see why you have the rep you do and will not waste my time with you any further. Bye.

Of course, to point out the delusional take that goes against facts and figures. Its beyond just different preferences. It's pointing a moon and say it produces heat.

You realized you're losing against the facts and now you want to back down, sure go ahead.

It really doesn't mean anything. Let's be honest, Japan will only continue to tilt towards digital here, and it has been the case over the many years.

Numerous games has straight up goes digital-only releases now. If anyone sticks to physical-only, they are the one missing out.
