Really happy with the reviews. I really enjoy the 'you'll love it or hate it' divisiveness, because if I love it, it'll be a blast. Excited for it.

Some Twitch etc streamers are playing it now early access and its looking pretty good so far, especially the graphics & character models.

If you don't mind spoilers (14900K / RTX 4090 / Maxed out graphics):

The video I watched showed a section with bafflingly bad view cones on the enemies. They have major tunnel vision and apparently difficulty doesn't increase that.

But stuff like that depends on context in my opinion. In some games, enemies being relatively dumb adds to the fun. Could be a negative or a blessing in disguise lol
This is completely true. The games AI, even if its trying to say mimic dumb enemies in the movie, has a long way to go.

Looks alright for that engine I guess

Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
I imagine much of the animation was mocapped or whatever so why does it look so bad here? All that to recreate the scene & botch it.

Also how silly is it to have that standard fps hands posing when carrying the item and running for your life instead of match the movie...

Hopefully the part in your vid where you were showing the npc's just standing around until you get close to them, is fixed with the day one patch. Hopefully the same with some of the other little niggles you had.

It will be an interesting fix as you don't want them too smart. Also disguises alerts how fast they alert to you. Its a hard nut to crack cause I also want some dumb nazis. But as i said in the review, it was bad enough to be noticable. NOT bad enough for me to ignore and not take advantage of for some hilarious killing though

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
"it's the best Indiana Jones game we got... And probably will ever get"

High praises. Especially considering legit classics like Fate of Atlantis.

I always forget Alfred fucking Molina was in the first one.

I saw a brief bit of it in the IGN video. Reminded me of TLoU (first one) where you could often be in clear view of the enemy and just get the "Huh? What was that?" reaction.

Nah. Ain't making shit up for no one.

Not being able to stand me is just a true sign of knowing me.
You have given poor reviews because your PC had performance issues.
This is not reliable especially when at times the console versions didn't have the issues.

But you guys told me late reviews means shit game. Looks like some of you will never learn. Excited to play this on game pass next week.
A lot of the times, it's true though.

In this case, to me anyway, the writing was always on the wall that the game looked like it would be a success! Happy it's reviewing so well.

He just mentioned the early access version doesn't have ray tracing yet which is weird being it requires a GPU with hardware ray tracing support as a minimum requirement, guessing the final version will look even better but not run as well of course.

Good scores, these are excellent news for Indi fans. I would probably wait for the PS5 release, I don't think my Steam Deck would run this well.

Early access version doesn't have path tracing. It still has the bog-standard RT (probably reflections/AO etc)

Pleasantly surprised by the reviews thus far but not so much that I'm willing to spend $35 to play it a few days early (especially since I wouldn't own the game outright). But if I play it on Game Pass next week and enjoy it enough to want to play it again, I'll buy it outright when it releases on PS5.

He gave Uncharted 3, the worst of them all, a 10/10.

Also, he keeps talking about Starfield, which is a pretty underwhelming game.

That’s cool. This is the second time I’ve watched them since SW Outlaws which he also tore up 😂 I hate all these guys for real, but it’s funny to see Greg grow some little raisenette balls to actually dislike some shit.

Yeah, when the industry ball lickers grow some fangs you know it's probably legit.

This is probably a 7/10 game, which is fine. That's the kind of game MachineGames make. I wish they had done a new 7/10 Wokenstein instead since I couldn't give less of a fuck about Indiana Jones.
