Looks like I picked the right show to attend.
crazy good and Trent's vocals sound fresh for it being one of the last songs of the nightFucking awesomeeeeee. The piano/drum break always puts a smile on my face. Such a sweet groove!

I paid double the money for 5 less songs. That's kind of annoying.
did they film that show or not? I murder someone for the show on blu-rayThe average length of the songs on this tour are longer. All in all it's probably a difference of 10 minutes or so. Some bands don't even play 90 minutes and these shows are minimum 2 hrs. Can't really complain...
I do wish every show was like the final wave goodbye performance of nearly 3.5 hrs though![]()
Saw them live in Atlanta a couple weeks ago. What I want to know, is how much control over the audio does Trent have? Being such a veteran, I was disappointed at how much the bass lacked any thump and how quiet some of the synth was. It was at an arena too, so there's no outdoor excuse. Besides that, it was pretty great.
edit: and yea, the setlist doesn't look great on paper, but it was actually pretty good in action.
I'm so pissed off I missed them when they came to Toronto. I'm so tempted to fly out to Edmonton to catch them live. Expensive as hell!![]()
smh @ the entire crowd clapping out of time during Hurt at the end
There is one most likely. There was a fan contest (THAT I MISSED OUT ON!!) where they gave away 400 tickets to a taping for CBS show or something. Most definitely that will make it to bluray one way or another.I just hope there's an official live blu-ray this time around.
The 'This One Is On Us' release of the leaked stuff was cool, but I miss having an official release. Just leave out the PHM songs (as much as I love them) if that's the issue.
Dont know when was this confirmed, but I just saw that they're coming to latin america. Chile, Argentina and Colombia (fuck yeah!) are the dates for now.
anyone else watch the performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, they played Various Methods Of Escape which isn't up on the JKL Music Channel on youtube yet but here's All Time Low

The official NIN Twitter account just tweeted that there's more 2014 tour news coming later this week. Hoping for some more American dates in early 2014 before they depart for their tour with QOTSA in Australia.
Just wondering... how long are the shows? Going to the Vancouver one on Thursday, but I still have work the next morning.
I went last night and it was 2 hours on the dot just for NIN's piece.
...
And it was fucking PHENOMENAL. I was a huge fan of NIN before, but this puts Reznor's work into a whole new tier for me. I can't even describe how great that was.
Only thing that bugged me was Explosions in the Sky's audio engineer. That shit was trash whenever they hit their louder pieces. NIN's acoustics were fucking sublime though.
Wow, that's awesome! I wish they would have played that at the Brooklyn show a month or so ago.Fucking awesomeeeeee. The piano/drum break always puts a smile on my face. Such a sweet groove!

Cool. How long was Explosions in the Sky?
Yeah! I wasn't sure if that was the engineers fault or the arena, until NIN started. Was a fantastic show, and they were on it. I was surprised how on the dot everyone was. They didn't even take breaks between songs, just song after song for a couple hours. Just the finale/encore had any pause.I went last night and it was 2 hours on the dot just for NIN's piece.

30-45mins maybe?

Oh cool. So show's done by like 10:00-10:30 and I can be home by 11:30.
Wish this was on a Saturday night. But it's far from my house and I still have to get up for work the next morning :/
Excited though!
Yea, every major artist can take a page out of Reznor's book. That was a PERFECT show. I was thoroughly impressed on every level.
Yeah, this will always be my favorite live band. Every part of it is perfect, on time, sounds great, looks great, etc.Definitely one of the things I love about NIN shows. 2hrs straight and barely a second wasted throughout the duration of the show. Unlike other bands who play 75-90 minutes and try to stretch it out to two hours with various bullshit.
