Oh my god I'm so glad now that I turned down the tickets to see the new tour. I love NIN live but if this is the bullshit to expect...haha...no thanks, I'm OK.
I don't listen to a ton of music these days, I tend to have a handful of groups or artists I follow closely. I was really into NIN when I was in high school and shortly thereafter, but drifted into other music after. Lately I've been circling back and finding I appreciate things on a different level now as an adult (Tool is a recent example, probably my favorite group). I'll pick up this latest and then maybe work back through the catalog I missed.Play Everything for the youngins and see if they like it :lol
Cool to see you posting here, didn't know you liked NIN at all :] I'll be updating the OP when tracks get posted onto YouTube, so keep an eye on there to see if you like the rest of the album!
Thanks for the suggestion. You've been missing out on some good music. Every album Trent has put out has had something great on it. "The Fragile" was my personal favorite.
Or maybe, and here's a shock, he just wanted to try something a bit different? He's obviously, at least to some degree, found some happiness and contentment in his life, and it's being reflected in his music.
Niiiiice jerb

i've only heard the 5.1 version once and it blew my mindI listened to the 5.1 surround version of The Downward Spiral for the first time the other day.
Seriously, you guys need to get hold of it. It sucks you into that album like the 2.0 one never did.

I think the mix is kinda bad on some of it. Some effects are way too loud. The end of Hurt is not loud enough.
I do agree, but even so - it's still a unique experience.
Almost as unique as hearing Zaireeka in it's full glory.
Have never been a NiN fan.
But Came Back Haunted is so fucking awesome.

Really? I think it's one of his most bland songs to date. You should check out The Fragile and the Downward Spiral.
My body is ready.
Don't listen to this man. If you like Came Back Haunted but have never been a NIN fan, you should check out Pretty Hate Machine. That album is much closer to Came Back Haunted in style than the albums Azula mentions. Also, it's easily NIN's best album, closely followed by The Downward Spiral.
