My body is ready.

Don't listen to this man. If you like Came Back Haunted but have never been a NIN fan, you should check out Pretty Hate Machine. That album is much closer to Came Back Haunted in style than the albums Azula mentions.
Also, it's easily NIN's best album, closely followed by The Downward Spiral.

Instrumentlals on that record are also very dated. The live renditions are much better on All That Could Have Been.

Also I wasn't suggesting those albums because they are similar musically, but because they are much better.

But to each his own. I would never think PHM is his best album so we are just on different pages here.

Is anyone else thinking the Deluxe edition is kinda eh?

I mean...3 random remixes and no new songs? I know NIN remixes can be awesome, but these are done by outside parties right? At least it seems that way. It just doesn't seem worth getting the Deluxe CD for it. I'd rather spend the extra on vinyl.

Trent must have loved playing that setlist without Closer. I seem to remember a later interview where he got really tired of playing that song.

ERMYGERD!

IIRC he got tired of that song pretty quickly, because it became too popular. I remember at a concert someone yelled "CLOSER" between songs, Trent said "Fuck you and your Closer.".

We talking good quality 320 leak or shitty web rip quality?

I ordered off the NIN website because I want the Apple Lossless versions for my iTunes library, imagine that won't leak early.

Even though GAF's standards are usually beyond the sky, I can safely say...

You guys will be very very VERY pleased with this.

Don't want to hear the whole thing until I get the physical CD, but I investigated All Time Low based on reactions here. VERRRRY nice.

I think I'll be able to wait

I've been contempt the last few days playing around with a making a better tracklist out of With Teeth and the two NIN/JA outtakes from that era

St. Paul 9/28. My hype engines are ready to lift me into orbit. I'm liking everything I've heard so far. Even Everything, which is very poppy is good for me. I'm a bit more willing to forgive NIN since they have been a huge part of my life. Pretty Hate Machine was the first CD I owned. They also would have been the first concert I would have gone to if my mother would have let me go way back when Pretty Hate Machine came out (I think I was 11 when they were touring that album). Basically, NIN could team up with Chris Brown and I would probably still like it.

Also, Trent continues to look amazing. Kind of disappointed that my ticket for St. Paul was about $98 after fees. That's $35 or so more than I paid to see them at Summerfest in 2006 (which is easily the best of over 500 concerts I have attended).

I have watched footage of some of their shows so far (Lollapalooza, Japan) and they still sound phenomenal live. I live in Madison, WI so if anyone wants to host me for the night the show goes down, send me a PM. I promise I am not rapey and I will not be drinking (going alone).

In Two is going to ha-ha-haunt my brain for decades, what a catchy Fragile-esque piece of work, also While I'm Still Here. The entire backhalf of this album is a goldmine of awesome vicious sounds.

"All Time Low" is so damn catchy.

EDIT: Holy shit, if "All Time Low" is that catchy, "Satellite" is even more so. Probably the poppiest NIN song I've heard and it's not really a bad thing. Sweet beats.
