You can still add those? Those are from the beta? and since then it won't show the levels I've made in the regular game and I can't find the level from the website in the game. I think they need to update the website but I'mnot sure.Rikyfree said:I don't know which one you mean, but I saw your user profile on the site, looked at your published missions and just added them to my queue. Is it the Fallout one?

the original gave you really simple stuff at the start, and the game was almost over as you got the good stuff
Does it force you to use the new powers? I don't have the game, I'm getting it on Tuesday, but I heard that you received more powers than inFamous 1 and had the opportunity to use them as often as you'd like.RobertM said:I don't like how I get new powers way too fast, and some of them are not even better than the other ones.
It doesn't force you to use any of the power. The powers on either side are enough to have fun on your play through. once you beat both endings, it unlocks all powers and you can match whatever you want.pharmboy044 said:Does it force you to use the new powers? As sequels fare, Infamous 2 marks a maturation from "good game" to "genre standout." The first game was a sound exercise in open-world play, superpowers, and binary choices; this sequel nips, tucks, and buffs up those features to create single-player content with plenty of intriguing hooks, pulpy comic book narrative, and latent political commentary within its thunderbolts and lightning grenades.
Infamous 2 embodies significant growth in Cole's superhero journey. The first title established him and set our expectations for Sucker Punch's universe, but the sequel expands it into a highly entertaining, thrilling, and responsive action game bursting with stout combat. It's not always even -- the combat camera is still off-kilter, and the Manichean morality system feels a little long in the tooth (but then, arguably, it does across several genres) -- yet the numerous improvements define it as one of the most entertaining titles you'll play in 2011.
I think it's a case of 'too bad'. I think the fairly binary choices the game gives you are the perfect excuse to close a power tree, you have to decide what you what and what you don'tElyrionX said:I really dislike this mechanic of closing off an entire power tree and forcing players to go through the game twice just to have a go at all the powers. I mean, I don't even have time to clear my massive backlog, why would I want to play through the same game twice? And being able to mix and match powers only in the third playthrough is just adding insult to injury.
I can understand that it's obviously impossible to show both the good and evil stories in a single playthrough but there's really no excuse for a skill tree to be completely closes off like that.

It's only really closed off if you use the Ray Sphere at the end of the first game. Otherwise, you can alter your karma to unlock the other powers pretty easily and switch like that. But it seems like this game is being better about it.ElyrionX said:I really dislike this mechanic of closing off an entire power tree and forcing players to go through the game twice just to have a go at all the powers. Lots of people want to play the game twice, your personal backlog is hardly an excuse to cut out half the game for everyone else.
ElyrionX said:First of all, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. 'too bad'? WTF?
Also, "lots" of people want to play the game twice? Are you fucking kidding me? You truly believe there is even anywhere close to a majority of the people who are buying the game (myself included) who would "want" to run through it TWICE? Especially given the repetitive nature of the game's missions and gameplay? Are you delusional?
The Xtortionist said:Hating on replay value? What?
If you really think the game is that repetitive, the other powers aren't going to do it for you. There's some cool stuff on the other side but nothing that's going to make the game do a complete 180.
ElyrionX said:For example, if I get tired of chucking a single guided rocket, I can re-roll (or something) my character and go for the multi-rockets (that's the evil version, right?). That's instant variety in gameplay, right there. This isn't hard to do or to comprehend at all.
Can anybody who's completed the game gimme a little insight on XP?
Is it possible to get fully maxed powers by the end of the game by completing everything 100%? The original inFamous had the issue of not giving you enough XP by the end game, and finding baddies to kill once all areas of the map have been white-listed was nigh impossible.
In other words, should I be leaving areas of the map to be hostile so I can XP grind if needed?
TeethMummy said:Can anyone speak to how the trophy import works? What if I platinum the game and have all the good and evil trophies?
If you got all trophies (and I guess if it works in the first place, given how here-or-there it was for others) then it has 3 options to either start a new game or start with a good or evil karma boost.TeethMummy said:Can anyone speak to how the trophy import works? Have you played anything really worthwhile in the UGC?Stat Flow said:Well, I just beat the game, Good run. I don't know if I'm going to do an evil playthrough.
Without spoiling (in other words, a simple yes or no answer without details)...could someone tell me if the ending is different with a pure Evil Cole?
This game was absolutely fantastic.
Nope.Lingitiz said:Have you played anything really worthwhile in the UGC?

Yeah ever since I dabbled a bit with forge I've been wanting to play a game like this where I could just queue up a ton of downloads and just play some ludicrous stuff.Teknoman said:This might be one that I just play the creations and sit creating out (like Halo Forge).
I'd love for someone to answer this as well. I'm only halfway through the first game. Do I need to finish it off to import a save?Pkaz01 said:So about the importing save from last game thing. Does it have to be a completed game save? And does it only import trophies and morality or will decisions made be imported also?
