Street Fighter has much more pronounced hitstop so it's generally easier to hitconfirm but this game has considerably less. Though it's not so bad when you realize that you can usually input your combo after hitting the jumpin, and hitconfirm off of that.
It's actually easier this way, you have more lee-way but it's also possible to get stuck in a minus situation if you're not fast enough.

I'm not a Fighting game guy. Haven't been since MK2. Just not my bag. My kids love MKX and Injustice, though, so I bought them Injustice 2 since they did so well on their report cards.
Holy crap, guys. This is really good! The storytelling, the graphics, the faces in particular, the gameplay! I love bringing loot to a fighting game! The Many Worlds mode is great fun, too. Looks baller on the Pro in 4k, as well.
One of the reasons I don't like Fighting games is that they're so complicated. It seems long past the point that you could button mash and have a blast. They keep the move list here nice and tight. Yeah, you can get into some more esoteric aspects if you wish, but it's all pretty intuitive.

Yeah, I'm still too used to Street Fighter but Injustice is probably easier, I'm having trouble adjusting though. Like jumping in feels like a commitment in NRS and I still rarely remember to input my string immediately.

I think so, that's how the game probably handles scaling for different stats.

I think I'm playing this game wrong. I can never finish any of the Multiverse events because I don't have any high level characters. I keep trying to upgrade everyone at the same time, so right now all my guys are level 5 or 6 with only Batman at level 10 and Superman at level 9.
It's also the addicting nature of getting all the different gear styles so I can have comic accurate outfits for every character (more or less). I love how out of all the stuff I have, the character that I got all epic loot for first was the Joker... I hate playing as him.

Focus on getting one character to 20 at a time rather than spreading it out. You won't be able to beat most multiverses until that happens.
Use endless or very easy 12 match arcade to grind. VS player if you've got two controllers. Can also set up auto farm with remote play or turbo controller.
Yes gear drops are frustrating and RNG heavy.

Well, it depends I guess. He's decent if you're just gonna be playing randoms and whatnot. He's an OK noobstomper, but anything more than that and he's gonna be a challenge. He's got set-ups but they're basically all avoidable for any decent player. He's also pretty execution-heavy for a NRS character.
He's fun, but other characters can just do everything he does better, for a fraction of the work.
I've seen a couple of people say they're just gonna straight-up drop him for the time being, but I can't do that because I don't like anyone else more.
Especially when all of them have happened so far when most of Europe is asleep.
There better be more today.
So for my own sanity, they re did the diamond box multiverse at 6am here after the last one at 2am was plagued with bugs? Fuck me, just make it 24 hours. It's not hard.
Also, for my own sanity because I might be missing something due to these bugs: The Wonder Woman event on PS4 isn't up yet and they decided to reset the Deadshot one that I can re do now, right?

Does Black Canary get more head gear that doesn't have a domino mask, apart from her default and the one with the dark make-up over her eyes like Oliver used to have on the first 2 series of Arrow?
And on that note, if I give a common item the stats of an epic, will they keep the augments?

Its not that you give common gear epic stats, it's that you reskin an epic with a different look.

I hope that Sub-zero and Raiden have a Killer Frost/Static premier skin respectively.
That would lower the hatred towards the guest characters somewhat I'd imagine.
Though I'd much rather it be the other way around with the MK characters being premier skins so the actual DC characters get gear

Not sure, I still don't have it. But Nightwing was pretty solid on I1, so I'd imagine it's a bit better.
If you're playing casually he should be absolutely fine, although he isn't the easiest to combo with.

So it's taken 22 minutes to open 90 bronze/silver mother boxes. I have 84 gold ones still............. debating whether to clear the slate (so I can then start spending the money I've built up) or resume leveling up more characters. Need to do something about all the loot I now have hehe.

Oh, and you were spot on about Darkseid's start-ups. Trying to find a way around it. I keep getting beaten to the punch. Literally.
The boxes are levelled to your current character levels when you receive them. You may as well clear them out as they won't get better.
