Yeah we usually get this level of quality in open betas from dice, 1 month before release not 6+ months lol this will be more than fine in october/november

Definitely..that's what's so great about them doing this whole labs thing. Shows they really care about the series and know this is probably their last shot to get it right.

There will always be complainers, but i really liked what i played. Its night and day compared to 2042. I saw some posts on reddit about this being an improved 2042 lol. What are these people even playing. Im playing this franchise since the first game and i can tell you that there is 0 2042 DNA in this game

The 2042 Beta actully played ok, but shit hit the fan at launch.

This is literally revisionist history.

I played the 2042 alpha and beta - both were an absolute shit show. The alpha was hard locked to 30 fps and the beta didn't even have a map or a scoreboard.

The BF6 pre-alpha is sensational compared to 2042. It's hands down the best Battlefield experience I've had, and the most fun I've played since BF4 Final Stand DLC.

In fact, I'm playing BF4 again now because it's made me hyped.

After 4 matches, I can safely say Battlefield is back! This thing is almost ready to launch at this point. After seeing the state it is in, I would not be surprised to see a late September or early October launch this year.

These lab builds are special builds made for testing specific things so internally they are probably more ahead of these versions

Huh, no it's far from ready. It's good so far, but feels very very pre alpha still.
Let a beta be the real deciding factor if this one needs to cook longer or not. I don't mind waiting one more year for this battlefield to be perfect.

Far from ready on what platform? Are you playing on PC? PS5 is legitimately almost release ready.

Game feels like years from release. Which they should do to make it damn near perfect.

Feels like every other pre-alpha/pre-release playtest they've done since BF3. I'm happy to say the meat is there, just need to see if the veg and gravy is right when release day comes. Need a bigger CQ map with more vehicles before a proper judge tbh.

Had to turn off all motion blur for mouselook not to be laggy af.
