It says I'm on iOS 9.1 (Beta program). Why did Apple release the Beta 9.1 before the public release of 9.0?

You'd be wise to delete your beta profile now and wait for 9.1 GM.
It's no better, and in some ways worse, than Flipboard IMO.
Public beta is always one update ahead of commercial releases. The developer beta is usually one update ahead of the public beta.

Is purify that much better than Crystal?
No clue but I'm running purify and am extremely happy with it for what it's worth

I bought it and it's decent, could be worth the money if you don't want to wait for a Crystal update that includes a whitelist feature.
Grab Crystal anyway just in case they start charging for it

Is just downloaded io9 to my iPhone 5 (which I am just using until the Moto x style is released in the uk). Not been keeping up with ios9 at all so this is very new to me, hate the new font (the i on the keyboard looks misaligned) and thee is jank, pressing the home button if you go to the end of the multitasking menu makes it spaz out it seems.

Multi-tasking and picture in picture are definitely the big futures in this for me. I'm gonna get so much more use out of my iPad now, wow.
You have to enable it in Settings, under General > Siri.
Always-on untethered "Hey Siri" is only on the 6S.

I keep wondering how the internet gets away with ads like that. Imagine if on TV you'd see ads saying you'd won an iPhone and to call in a certain number to get it, and if you did they'd ask for your credit card number and then run off with your money. That's exactly the kinds of ads I'm encountering on the net. This shit needs to stop.
Weird, I have the setting on my iPhone 6. Though, I haven't really tried it.
Fake edit: It says it's enabled when connected to power.

So iPads still don't allow as many icons on the home screen as a 6 Plus, but the folders are now a TON bigger

Hmm, I usually have my iphone on 2 minute autolock, but since iOS 9, it seems the 2 minute option is actually 1 minute.

Right, so if my calculations are right, the auto lock feature is off by one minute on each setting.
For 2 minutes its 1 minute
for 3 minutes its 2 minutes
