Jesus fuck. I hope somebody there comes up with an excuse for this, because another war in the middle east is not what America needs.

Conjecture question: What are the chances that this is Russia related? Does the FSB/KGB have screws they can turn to make Iran do something like this? Based on Russia's incompetent planning in regard to Ukraine, I could see Putin thinking that a war in Iran would be enough of a distraction for the US that he could start trying to take bites out of NATO.
