Seriously, I LOVE Foo Fighters, their music is so awesome because they have catchy choruses that I cannot stop singing

Not only the choruses, the whole musics are catchy. I could spend the whole day singing their songs.

Still, not the best band of their time. And I won't say that for me Linkin Park deserves this place because I don't want to be banned. lol

Nickelback is clearly the greatest rock band of all time can just look at sales and know. Just cause you don't like doesn't invalidate the millions of people who do. Every album they put out has great variety and quality songs on it.

The bands themselves do not dictate whether or not their songs get licensed for use in Rock Band, not only that but Rock Band songs are planned months in advance, the process takes longer than one week.

I remember the lead singer for Oasis said the same stuff about music video games, but their songs were already on Rock Band. I'd go on to assume most popular Rock Bands don't know that their song is on a music video game.

Anyways, it's sad that before the thread title change, people still said no. Dave Grohl is a hell of an artist, and Wasting Light is definitely one of my top 10 albums of all time. Every song is so good on that album. If you haven't listened to it or have some sort of distaste for Foo Fighters, it will change you.

Also, they have best robot chicken sketch of all time
even if it isn't them

Foo Fighters sold out? Wasting Light was quite garage-y, and really great. If they sold out, wouldn't they be mega huge?

I'm not sure if I should even post in this thread, don't know which band people are responding to. I love Foo Fighters, they're not super experimental, but really they're one the few good mainstream rock bands along with Deftones.

All the mid-30s housewives I've met loved 'em. Can't say I ever cared enough to form an opinion. Between the internet and Satellite radio, its pretty easy remain musically isolated.

As a Canuck I can't stand Nickelback

A few years ago while I was driving from Calgary to Banff I was listening to some radio station
that played I think 3 Nickelback songs in an hour.
They were taking callers for song requests.
Some guy from Vancouver calls in and it went like this:

"Hey I gotta request!"
"What do you wanna hear?"
"Anything but fucking Nickelback!"

I smiled.. and the rest of the drive was awesome.

Needless to say it's kinda weird and less annoying listening to Avril cover their songs in the new One Piece Z movie.

I think we can all agree that Aerosmith was a great band. Listen to Aerosmith, Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic, and Rocks, then tell me otherwise.
