I'm still at the bottom of the totem pole, being the newest one. Even if I removed it altogether it'll probably get reissued.

But it's over the 150k that is stated in the OP, how do you lower the file size of an anitmted gif, I'm still pretty new to this, I'm using Ulead Gif animator 5 atm.

The 150kB limit is for any avatar type. To lower the file size, some things you can do are:

1. Make the image shorter (crop from top and bottom)
2. Shrink the image
3. Remove frames
4. Use a size optimisation function (GIMP has one)

Your current one (probably the one that lost you your privileges) is stretched to 90*185! You need to change your avatar to the one you want to use and post the avatar in the thread if you want your privileges back.

Post a fixed version of your avatar or a new one you want to use. The resizing made it too long by a few pixels.
