Machine Gun Kelly lookin ass
As much as I'd like to agree, this is far from the truth. There's woke games that has gotten popular in the past so it's not a unwritten rule.Go woke, go broke.
With how they ruined Funhaus I sure hope so.Looks like Rooster Teeth is probably next in line
Tsk Tsk
I think he's insulted by your post.Machine Gun Kelly lookin ass
Someone please put the snoop dog gif of '' Who? ''
She sure did say some dumb stuff leading up to that rant. That the PS5 is dead on arrival. Or was it PS5 was a dead man walking? Something like that. Something that obviously got nerds mad and drew a lot of fanboy animosity that then lead to her doing the usual schtick of "I'm being attacked because of the special group I'm in, not because of any dumb stuff I said or did" which is still the #1 go-to-move in the corpo playbook right now and I hope normal people start figuring that move out soonIf you think her rant was an attack on you personally maybe take a step back lmao.
Maybe it shouldn't have been in programming but there were a lot to dumb motherfuckers saying some dumb motherfucking stuff that led up to the rant.
Too much weight is being given to the rant re: bringing the network down. Outside of the gaming sphere, I doubt very few people knew about it and if they did they probably didn't care. That being said, outside of the gaming sphere, I doubt very few people knew about G4 and if they did they probably didn't care, and I think that had way more to do with its cancelation.
While many will disagree , I thoroughly enjoyed Adam Sessler’s reviews. He was the only thing I watched on G4TVs YouTube channel though. I do miss the good ole cinematech and portal shows from way back then.
No Attack of the Show with Kevin and Olivia, no watch. No X-Play with Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb, no care
Eh Rooster Teeth died when Bernie sold them to AT&T and left. It died around season 8 or 9 of RvB for me.Looks like Rooster Teeth is probably next in line
Oops dammit I thought I looked and didn't see a thread open. Mods sorry! Please lock this one/delete.
Neither this thread or network are bangable.Oops dammit I thought I looked and didn't see a thread open. Mods sorry! Please lock this one/delete.
Hoop nose rings are easily the most hideous fashion trend in ages. JNCO jeans are somehow more classy looking than that.

The new G4 is a far cry from its initial inception. Attack of the Show and X Play (previously Extended Play) were such great staples to the network. This time it felt like a hodge podge of...stuff . I did enjoy seeing Adam Sessler once again tho. Yet, everything just felt so off.
Seeing Frosk attack the viewing fan base, which was starting to dwindle anyway, was the final nail in the coffin. From what I read, it was UNSCRIPTED as she was supposed to talk about what she didn't like abut RDR 2. The true hosts reaction from her diatribe was silence. The "GET EM FROSK" comment was edited in from another segment.
A shame, really. I miss Morgan, Olivia and Layla ( lord she was fine! Well all of them were really.) Kevin and Adam were great hosts as well.
It's not how many times you get knocked down. It's how many times you get back up.Twice in the same day?
Watching Cinematech was pretty nice I'll say. In the early days, EVERYONE WAS PASSIONATE about games and tech and everything in between. Now, shit ain't like that no more. The issue was, G4 used to be this fun love letter to geekdom. They were passionate and friendly, open to debate and just got hyped over every new game, movie, show, and tech that got announced. That passion radiated to the audience and with shows like Judgment Day, Cinematech, Code Monkeys, and more - it was clear they truly loved gaming as a whole.
Modern G4 didn't. There were a few that truly did care, like Jirard, but so many were slacktivist fuck nuggets who cared more about their own egos and pretending to fight for some cause than to do their fucking jobs.

Expenditures for guest talent appear to have played a role in the closure. According to multiple G4 employees interviewed by The Post, some high-profile creators demanded day rates of $25,000-$30,000 when invited to appear as guests on G4.
