TJ Ford is done for the year. D'oh! And while that's hardly a surprise, it hurts. Especially since they still won't even put a timetable on when TJ can resume any kind of basketball workouts.

They still are claiming he will be back at some point, but when a year later and its still this uncertain, it doesn't look good. When the Bucks arn't making stupid 1st round picks, they are hit with bad luck. Then again, they knew of TJ's condition when they picked him.

Well at least the Bucks lost by less than 18 to the Spurs (only by 15!).

Caught Shaquille O'Neal warming in the hallway outside the visiting locker room on Friday night at The Rose Garden. He was working with a conditioning coach an hour before the game, getting loose.

One of the exercises featured Shaq --- and I am not making this up --- performing a squat while holding one of the Trail Blazers ball boys in his arms. The ball boy laid straight, like a board, and O'Neal held the ball boy out in front of himself while he performed 10-15 squats.

The ball boy was about 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds, but looked like a five-foot 2 x 4 in Shaq's arms.

More common sense from Rich Bucher:

Lame jokes aside, I'm not going to crack on them for giving honest answers. As I see it, the only people who can judge VC and T-Mac are those still working despite already being bankrolled for life. My guess is Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have coasted through a few work days after they put together the mansion-yacht-jet trifecta. I know Kurt Vonnegut mailed in at least one novel ("Breakfast of Champions") he'd already been paid for and my CD collection is littered with discs by big names that I couldn't bear to listen to more than once.

His Kobe/Bron stuff is even more interesting....

So what's all this talk about trading Eddie Jones for Spree? I like Spree, eventhough he's a moaning, coach-choking motherfucker. He's a better player than Eddie Jones IMO, but his work ethic is questionable. I hope it's true. Only saw a little mention of it on the NBA preshow. PEACE.

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!
the proposed trade...

Twolves get Eddie Jones and Donyell Marshall
Miami gets Latrell Sprewell
NY gets Jalen Rose
Raps gets Penny Hardaway

Excuse me? We trade Jalen and Donyell...Ok, that's fine. But if that's who we get in exchange we are *FUCKING RETARDED*

He might raise jersey sales...to people who think he's Tim Hardaway. :lol PEACE.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
Someone needs to stick a chopstick up yao's ass to get him to play better.

If I was the Nets, i'd trade Jefferson in the off season. Carter and him basically do the same things, except Jefferson is a better rebounder and (more importantly) he actually has some trade value. If another team would give them a legit big man for him (someone like....Kenyon Martin) the Nets should ship his overrated ass out...

T-Mac...you have Jason Kidd (6'0"?) guarding you...you HAVE to score.

Kidd's about 6'3"-6'4" (listed), but yeah, McGrady should be rolling into the post every possession.

Sura's ridiculous tonight...

LOL! Van Gundy keeps calling TOs. Stop the pain please!

:lol :lol

This game will never end! I dont care if the Rockets are up by 5. Nets will come back to tie it and send it to 2nd OT :(

Ah shit, Kobe's out with an ankle injury. This sucks-- that was gonna be a fun game to watch. : /

Hope he's ok.

Man, Kobe's resorting to cheap tactics in order to avoid breaking the "most TO's in one season" record. :D ;)

His ankle's not really broken, is it?

WTF, Ernie Johnson sounds like the president was just shot :lol

"Kobe Bryant...at 7:58pm PST....was injured during tonight's game with the Cavs. Please....put the kids to bed tonight, and tell them everything is going to be ok."

Whoa, that looked like a pretty nasty roll on the replay. I've hurt my ankle several times over the years, but by far the worst was when it rolled from high up the foot (further towards the toes, that is), just like that. I literally couldn't walk for a week, and it took about 4 months to heal fully.
