Kings don't back down from physical play
That little Eastern Conference shit game worked for two games, and this sorry fucking excuse for a team miraculously (seriously, a miracle) stole two games from two of the best teams in the league by basically getting away with all sorts of bullshit. Well, that's the end of that. The refs will start finally cracking down on their asses and they can fucking rot in their shitty Lottery spot for all I care. Keep that boring cheap bullshit out of the WC, and keep it out of the NBA while you're at it.

Also, why don't the Lakers play Sasha more? Even as a rook he runs the offense better then our other scrub PGs and can actually penetrate to the hoop.

Sounds like they had fun.
I saw the replays of the Maurice Evans play and it looked nasty. His facial expression looked like someone in a vortex. The Jazz's player calling for the medical staff because the guys "bleeding from his ear" didn't help. I hope he's all right.

I know it's been reported lately that the Spurs have been interested in acquiring Chandler in a trade involving Rasho, according to the Chicago Tribune. But from some Spurs inside sources it seems like the Spurs have offered a different package, not involving Rasho. Maybe Malik and who knows what else would have to happen for the salaries to match.
I hope no deal goes through, the team doesn't need it.

Is it me, or does every trade ever mentioned always seem to favor the Lakers? :lol They'd definitely make out like bandits with this one if true. Arroyo is likely more disgruntled in Utah than anything, which has affected his play, and has a decent (if not spectacular like Tony Parker) upside; Kwame Brown has also shown flashes, and could develop nicely on a team that plays drive and dish (like LA, w/Kobe and Odom) versus one that plays drive and finish like Washington (with Arenas and Hughes).

Peter Vescey mentioned this trade on NBA TV. I personally don't think it goes thru cos Kobe and Caron are tight...

Utah would be able to trade Arroyo's $16 million over the next 4 years, for Devean's $4 million for one more year, so thats where their motivation for doing this trade would come from (if they really want to get rid of Arroyo, that is). I doubt they'd be doing it because they love D-Gump's game so much. And Cook is a talented big on a cheap rookie contract, so it wouldn't hurt to add him to the roster.
With that said, i do agree that this trade is unlikely. It is kinda Laker favored (even though i'd hate to give up Caron), but also because 1) 3 team trades are VERY rare in the NBA, and 2) I don't see why the Wizards make this deal. They are playing well right now, and Hayes/Caron trade is at best a wash, at least for this season. Chucky Atkins adds SHIT, so he doesn't even count, and Jarron Collins is pretty much Brenda Haywood part 2.
this might be true. STill, why not just give Utah Gump for ARroyo straight up? Ends up being just about the same deal for us and the Jazz, so why even include the Wizards?

yeah, but if we get rid of Chucky, Sasha would probably become the fulltime backup PG, and even get some minutes at SG (especially now with Kobe's injury). Plus, we got him locked up for the next 3 years, so we have plenty of time to see what he's got. I don't really like the idea of getting Kwame Brown though. He's a FA after this season, so basically we're gonna have a few months to decide whether or not he's worth $8-10 milllion a year in a long term deal. Too much of a crapshoot. He hasn't proven he's worth that kind of investment. Plus, i'll never hear the end of it from DM if Kwame ends up as a Laker.
Good point. He doesn't look to jack it up all the time and he can actually penetrate and force turnovers on the other end. Bobbit will be activated too so he'll be backup SG. I just don't wanna lose Caron for a small guard. If they take DG's ending K, that'll work but I don't know if the Jazz wanna help the Lakers get better :lol

Look at the facial expressions of everyone in that picture. The Ref looks like he's unloading, the Utah player looks like he just lost his manhood, Boozer has that "omg, did he just do that" look, and Webber looks lke he's having a great time forcing the action between the ref and Utah dude.
Lakers win without Kobe, I guess my point has been proven. When the other Lakers don't have to play for Kobe, they are quite servicable. They work better as a team, and they have the confidence to do what they've been doing their whole lives without getting chewed out by a loser. Kobe is a cancer, while Shaq was around, it remained in remission, but when the treatments were stopped, it came back in full force. I really feel for the people of Los Angeles.
