seems like a pretty weak demo disc. first one in a while that i won't bother with. x8 is vaguely interesting, but really i should avoid any temptation to start buying megaman games again.

Well, when I was a kid, I had to deal with games based on junk food, like Chester Cheetah and Yo! Noid.

Though I also had Duck Tales and Rescue Rangers to play......so yeah, kids games today definately suck compared to those.

Got my issue in the mail today and my demo disk was just floating around inside of the bag. Apparently they were in such a rush to ship it they didn't bother with the usual cardboard insert in the magazine. GOTTA GET THOSE AOL DISKS IN MAILBOXES! RUSH! RUSH! RUSH!

Having a woman review Rumble Roses is like having a Jew rate a B.L.T. I mean, I guess it's great that the game is good enough to get above average marks from the token female reviewer, but honestly folks.

This month's issue just pisses me off. Crap advertisements taped to the front cover. Disk floating in the magazine. More AOL propaganda. When I sat down on the toilet to read it, the pages kept flopping open because of the damned "Buy 5,000 DVD's for A PENNY!" cardboard inserts. BLARGHLEGLELELGLLELGLELGLE!

I'm old. Old people don't have time for this shit. I want to read my magazine on my toilet and not wrestle with the fucking thing. >:|

Anybody remember the 7-up SNES game, Cool Spot. It was a rather decent platformer. If this is really what kids are playing, then I feel horribly sorry for them. My childhoold is full of memories with Link to the past, chrono trigger, and SMB 3. I doubt that kids are really playing these games today though. I was at my local indie game store today buying alien hominid, and I saw a seven year old kid buying GTA 3. He was about 2.5 feet tall. His voice also made him sound seven. It was sickening. The clerk didn't even say anything. I would have tried to stop them, but the kid wanted the game bad, and I was afraid he was going to flip out on me.
